Well, I guess we all can agree that a lot of Heavy Metal videos, especially in Power Metal, don't make much sense and often the video and the actual content of the video are incoherent. We all know them. So let's share them!

Nightwish's "Sleeping Sun", 2005 version. It's stupid because the video has nothing to do with the song. Awful. The original video is a lot better (and visually nicer too). Oh and Tarja sings with a more operatic voice in the original video, while here she sings with a more "pop" voice, which I think sucks.

HamerFall's second version of "Glory to the Brave". Just like with Nightwish, the original video is a lot better... But maybe that's just me.

I don't think many vocal teachers are going to say that vocal sucks or do you mean you would rather have it be more operatic? It does not really seem very pop to me, but rather theatrical. its like if a woman sings like that she is pop but a male can sing in a more contemporary way and still not be considered pop.

It's the intonation that sounds popish, and the same can be said about male singers. Btw, I didn't say her singing sucks; I just think that the choice of style for that song sucks. Yes, I would rather listen to a more operatic version. In other words, I would rather listen to the original version. I wouldn't change anything from the original version.

And yes, I can complain about the new version even if I don't have to listen to it. I just think it was a step backwards.

You have made whole topics to bitch about ozzy and such. You pretty much made this thread to do the same thing with other music.

That first udo had the religious stuff because that’s "For god's sake" is repeated in the songs god knows how many times. Those streets look rather dirty and mean.
