Say what you will, part 2, but I think United Abominations might have been the best Megadeth album... ever? Or since CtE anyway. I'm looking forward to Endgame.

Its apocalyptic. I guess it is meant to be kinda ugly and depressing. It does get the point across. Reminds me somewhat of that 1984 Apple Superbowl Commercial. Kinda Orwellian.
I know that was before the time of most people here, but I think miditek might know what I am referring to!

It's about the New World Order people. Dave has sung about it in the past too. Probably the most famous "conspirace theorist" Alex Jones has made a documentary film called Endgame. Coincidence? I think not. Personally I think this stuff is great material for songs.

Yes, actually most of Megadeths albums are based on the conspiracy theory theme. On a VH1 show several years ago Dave said he was interested in that kinda stuff. Many, many of Megadeths songs are apocalyptic in nature.
Off topic: Megadeth was the cult leader, David Koreshs favorite band. Nuff said.

I thought so too the first time I read "United Abominations". I think it is, yes.

of course it's from the united nations, it's social commentary on it.
