The "other face" of PowerWolf...
Post
by Ragehead91 » Thu Aug 20, 2009 12:42 am

Do these 5 guys by any chance look familiar to you? No? Well, if you're a PowerWolf fan, they should! Because these 5 guys
are PowerWolf before their transformation into Christian-Satanic-Wolfes from Romania in 2003. Before they were PowerWolf, they were the Stonerrock Band "Red Aim". As far as I know Red Aim was more of a underground band before Attila Dorn/Don Rodgers joined in 2000. They've released 3 albums since then, the last one in 2003. Their music is good and has a humorous touch much like in PowerWolf. If you're a fan of the PowerWolf guys, like Rock and want to hear those guys in another environment than "Dark Power Metal" from Romania, then you should check them out!

Red Aim changed the name when they underwent their transformation. Edguy didn't. If Edguy changed their name in 2006 I wouldn't have a problem. Those 2 Edguy albums may be good for what they are but they suck at being Edguy albums.

Attila is Hungarian!

Akkor is van még remény,
Mert a lelked továbbra is él."

Powerwolf are 100% gay and that pictures proves it! I dont have nothing against gays but if the music sucks that badly they instead should stay home and suck momma's cocks.
And youre wrong, Edguy just keeps getting better and better

And you would be okay with their new direction, music... if they only changed their name?

Yes. I would. When I buy an album with the name "Edguy" on it I expect top-notch Power Metal ala Kingdom of Madness (which would be even better if it wasn't for the production), Vain Glory Opera, Theater of Salvation, The Savage Poetry, Mandrake or Hellfire Club. This is what I compare the new albums too. And in that regard the new albums fail. They may be good for what they are but they fail as Edguy albums. Change the name and that problem is gone. It still wouldn't be my favourite 2 albums but I would like them more then I would do now.
