It's a pity we didn't win. But I can only agree, the best team won. Spain was really strong. And come on, 2nd place in the world is nothing to be ashamed about.sanichi wrote:I'm really sorry for your countryrikkertje wrote:FUCKFUCKFUCK...
I was so hoping for the Dutch to win after Spain kicked us out of the finals...
Congrats to Spain though, they really were one of the best teams in this Worldcup (besides Germany of course )
Anyway, Paul is really cute, but his predictions were pure coincidence in my opinion
I guess they're not 'amarela' anymoreRazielSR wrote: PS2:http://oglobo.globo.com/esportes/copa20 ... 106814.aspGuiHunter wrote:For me, real teams that can defeat brazil are only this: Argentina and France......Only that ones..

I hope Brazil have learnt from the lessons of this and the previous WC so they can give us a great show in 2014.GuiHunter wrote:But I believe that Brazil will win that one again.. Yes. In football there are cycles as you know, and now it has been Spain's one. And we'll see in the future...Spain always was a team that everybody was always waiting to see winning something (they had a lot of good teams before this one, not that good but almost). But we didn't know how to suffer. We just played good and brilliant football, but we lack of that competitivity that makes you win. Now it's different, and it's gonna be always different. The same happened to other National Teams in the history.NeonVomit wrote: Oh, and I think you dropped this:

This Spain team have broken all the 'traditions': European country winning outside of Europe, team having lost the first match winning the Cup, European Champions winning WC, Spain never getting past the 1/4 finals... they did it all.
It was really moving. Iniesta is one of that sportsman that knows about the true meaning of sport and the t-shirt shows it. As you say, in the most important day of his life, one of that days where you can just think about you and your team and your glory... he was prepared to remember Daniel.NeonVomit wrote: And Iniesta wearing that tshirt underneath showed true class and humility. He promised never to forget Daniel Jarque... so he dedicated the defining moment of his career and of Spain's tournament to his memory. Very moving and beautiful gesture, I'm sure Dani's family really appreciated it.
Well, Del Bosque was criticized from the beginning because I think he was the only one who never saw that Torres was completely out of fit because he was injuried before the WC. He has been a disaster, Villa was really tired and he decided to change it...that's ok...but Torres? You have Llorente for example...but well, he is the coach. And fuck, he won the WC.ggonza wrote:The only thing I was thinking while posting here was: Del Bosque's last change was like the most fucked up and risky of all the entire WC; Torres for Villa?! Thanks God they've won, otherwise he would have been very criticized
Yes, second place is a very good one as you have said, and you got to the finals 3 times, we never got there, this is our first time, but it is such a shame the way you played, there is nothing to be proud of. It seemed that the end justified the means, absolutely shameful. You deserved to lose I must say. We played fair, and won. It couldn't be any other way.rikkertje wrote:It's a pity we didn't win. Sorry to disagree, but it wasn't their fault either. That english referee was a real dick in my opinionLurdi wrote:Yes, second place is a very good one as you have said, and you got to the finals 3 times, we never got there, this is our first time, but it is such a shame the way you played, there is nothing to be proud of.
