Most of these are average, some even good ones. Did they simply type "metal album cover" in Google images and list the first 44 they found?
Some of these are actually comical, which makes me wonder if the covers were intentional?Babylon wrote:http://media.gunaxin.com/the-25-worst-a ... 2009/37511

Are those male or female? Really, no joke intended, I really can't tell.Mormegil wrote:

I honestly did think that the Dance of Death cover was a joke when it was first revealed. The rest of the booklet is awesome however, and the album is their best since the return of Dickinson/Smith IMO... proof you really can't tell a book (or album) by its cover but yes, it is appalling.Babylon wrote:http://media.gunaxin.com/the-25-worst-a ... 2009/37511
Actually, its pretty cool. :bigok: Whats the symbolism behind it?NeonVomit wrote:What do you think of this?
I could never totally get into DoD. It does have some great songs, like New Frontier (my favorite), but I'll take Brave New World over DoD any day.NeonVomit wrote:I honestly did think that the Dance of Death cover was a joke when it was first revealed. Paschendale and Face in the Sand are epic tracks, and while BNW is a great album there aren't any songs on there that really equal those two.Babylon wrote:I could never totally get into DoD. Ghost of the Navigator and Dream of Mirrors are two of my favorite Maiden songs. Fell in love with them from the moment I heard them. But you are right, it is a matter of tasteNeonVomit wrote: Paschendale and Face in the Sand are epic tracks, and while BNW is a great album there aren't any songs on there that really equal those two.
But that's a matter of taste
