This is so sad. Its always sad when someone this young dies.
There has not been COD released, so whether it was drugs or not we will have to wait and see. Young people have died suddenly from heart problems, so lets not jump the gun and say it was drugs which killed her.

Very pretty girl, and this was actually one of the few more decent pics I could find.
She was not shy by any means, it seems.

Yes, but few of them die suddenly for no apparent reason at that age. That's why I mentioned her medical history. Maybe there's a history of heart disease in her family (John Candy and David Graf are two examples). It's not very common for a seemingly healthy 32-year-old woman to just drop dead, although it

It has been determined she died of natural causes. Sudden cardiac arrest. Its not a totally rare condition. Some people have a bad heart and do not even know it. Several years ago my friends brother died suddenly like this at age 29. Tragic, but it does happen.

The husband of US actress Brittany Murphy has told a US TV show his wife was suffering from laryngitis in the days before she died.
An autopsy has been carried out but the cause of death will not be known until the results of toxicology and tissue tests come out in four to six weeks.
Guess we'll find out eventually.

Maybe the bacteria causing the throat infection went to her heart. Endocarditis can be fatal if untreated.
Just thinking it might be something like that.

Very sad, I saw the news on Monday & I was shocked, she was so young & talent, I like her comedian movies!

She had flu like symptoms, was running a low grade fever, and was very tired for a few days before she died. Brittany did have a heart murmur. Which brings me back to my theory she had some sort of heart malfunction caused by her illness.
It is sad because she and her husband were planning on trying to start a family in 2012. They had a happy stable marriage, her career was doing OK, and her health seemed fine. And, there were no drugs in her system at time of death. She was thin, but not anorexic, and her last checkup was in good health except for the heart murmur.

Brittany Murphy's death caused by pneumonia
US actress Brittany Murphy died of pneumonia, a Los Angeles coroner has ruled.
Coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey added that iron-deficiency anaemia and "multiple drug intoxication" were secondary factors in her death.
The drugs were all prescription medicines. More details are due in two weeks when a complete report is ready.
Murphy collapsed at her Los Angeles home and was pronounced dead in hospital on 20 December, aged 32.
The coroner ruled the death was accidental.
The actress, best known for roles in clueless and 8 Mile, had been taken to hospital after the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call at her home.
Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack and mother, Sharon Murphy, said the actress had been experiencing flu-like symptoms in the days before she died.
Monjack told The Associated Press last month that his wife had several prescriptions, including one for an anti-seizure drug, but did not abuse her medication.

I don't know what to say.
I have had pneumonia quite a few times in my life, the last time about 3 years ago. I guess everyone is different but when I always had the disease I did not feel like getting up out of bed, let alone take a shower or anything else. It could have been the drugs interacted in a bad way in her system. Many drugs are deadly in combination.
Its really sad because odds are, her death was avoidable.

Another chapter in this tragedy. Brittany's husband, Simon, was found dead Sunday at his home by Brittany's mother, who had been allowed to stay at the home following her daughter's death. Simon's death was due to a heart attack. He was scheduled to undergo a bypass.
