Here I'm posting this video about a question-game from France called "Le Jeux De La Mort". I've seen a review of this in the local news, and I was totally shocked! Basically, there are several contestants behind some levers, while another contestant sits on an electric chair to answer questions. If he fails at the answer, one of the other contestants is said by the producer of the program to pull down a lever depending of what they think the punishment should be (40V, 110V, 220V, 350V, 440V!). What they try to show is the level of sumission the contestants have, while they see a man/woman suffer from electricity.

Now let's make thing serious, and I'm telling the truth now: The game is fake. The player who sits on the chair is an actor/actress, BUT the other contestant aren't aware of that; they actually think they are electrifing him/her.

And I thought japanesses were sadistic

interesting. it was a psychological experiment by the way, to see human obedience to authority.

I bet the contestants surrendered...

actually no. if I remember correctly from what I heard in the video, only 16 out of 80 quit

That's the worst thing. I mean, how far can humans go for 15 minutes of fame and glory?
