The city Rio de Janeiro, located in Brazil, where I live, is under water since yesterday. I think that we can call here the New Atlantis.... lol

I've always wanted to visit Rio. Is enough of it still there to be worth buying a ticket to come to?

This is all over the news. Very serious. Hope it dries up soon. Floods are so dangerous. Good luck to everyone there and hope they get the help they need.

I would consider yourselves lucky. Its Priapus's way of punishing you for avoiding baths, for all these years. Perhaps you latino apes will escape the incident with fairer skin.

New Atlantis? I thought it was the new Venice

BTW: is just a bit of dark humor but it is sad what has happened not only in Brazil but in other parts of the world who are suffering with floods, earthquakes, tsunamis etc ...

Is it all caused by "global warming"?

Or maybe 2012 will be the end of our civilization?
