Peter Steele, frontman of Type O Negative, dies of suspected heart failure.

This is very sad. Type O are one of my favourite bands. While it's been a some time since I've listened to them a lot, they were the soundtrack of my late teens, a time when I was angry and depressed a lot and somehow their music helped.

Very sad indeed. Peter Steele had a lot of problems in his life, dealing with mental difficulties and other troubles and it seemed that for him, there just wasn't any catharsis. Perhaps now he has some peace.

RIP. Though I wasn't a big fan, I liked his music quite a lot.

Its sad to see anyone die so young. RIP.
I was not a fan, but my son sure is. He gives Type-O as one of his influences in Metal.
May the Metal Gods take care of Mr. Steele now.

Very sad indeed I like Type O a lot, listened to them quite a bit when I was in college. Their last album was still awesome. Got the chance to see them live in 2000 opening for Pantera in Mexico City. He'll be missed

WTF Can't believe, I was not his fan neither but I like some songs & videos from Type O Negative!
