Hey, as the title suggests, I need to find some new bands, because I'm slowly getting bored of the ones I currently listen to. I mostly like power/prog/symphonic metal, but I can listen to everything but doom/death/black. Can you give me some suggestions?

Older Adagio, Symphonity and Vision Divine are good ones.

Grindcore is not metal (and also not music, if you ask me). Pretty simple reason, isn't it?

I can recomend Dream Theater, Symphony X, Circus Manimus, Porcupine Tree, Primal Fear, Kamelot, Epica, Manticora, Firewind. Try those

Rotten Sound is a millions times better than strato (ONLY if you don't like melodies and lyrics about unicorns and rainbows and dolphins)

But I'd have to say, I don't like any of their new stuff.
Check out the drummers band Deathbound, doomsday comfort....

I am also just getting into their stuff right now but some of their stuff is amazing.

I got a little tired of my music too, so I decided to start listening to other kinds of music too. I have to say that at the moment I am completely addicted to Christina Aguilera's 'Back to Basics' album.
Other stuff I started listening to is 3OH!3. Cool electronic stuff.

I agree, Exit is the apex of their career thus far. Saw them live couple of days ago. Absolutely insane, people falling on broken beer bottles n stuff

There's nothing wrong with newer Adagio, but Balu wanted power/prog/symphonic metal, not death metal, which Dominate and Archangels in Black partly are.
