I agree; its all commercialized nonsense. You neglect your loved ones 364 days of the year and try to make up for it all at once by buying a bunch of crap.

I also think it's commercial nonsense. Luckily my mother thinks so too. She always sais: 'Don't buy me stupid presents on these kind of days'. But, I did visit her on mother's day. But that was more coincidental.

Here the Mother's Day is in October I think
