What do you do to play fast guitar solos?????

Here musicians can talk to each other about making music etc. Of course if you are not a musician you are still welcomed to this board, but the topics should somehow be about making music.

Yeah just look at marathon runners. People have been running for thousands of years and already should know the "perfect technique"... But many runners have their own way of doing it that works best with the body they happen to have. No rules, besides, in performing arts "wrong" things are sometimes right because the only goal isn't going as fast as you can.
