Let's make a topic for all to post our covers from whatever we play. Any band, any genere.
Let me begin with my cover for the Tetris Theme.
Sounds soo StratoArctica I think

Nah it's not bad. Most people (30 year old GUYS

)I know don't even know how to play in time let alone make a cover of Tetris and program drums. (and upload it to youtube

) Good job by the way. Download the drumkit from hell samples if you want some METAL sounding drums!! Have you ever used any Line6 equipment? Something like the pods where you can plug into the USB port and have virtual amps & all that fun stuff.

I'll check those drum samples, thank you
I've used virtual amps, but I usually prefer the sound of my actual physical amp. I like organic and natural sounds, and as you might know, the more analog devices you use, the more organic the sound will be.

You can get almost any sound you want out of using VST plugins for guitar or the Line6 pod and other ones companies sell. I'm pretty sure most people will not be able to tell the difference if you are using a real amp or not. If you want real analog, prepare to record everything in one take on analog tape with tube amps and THEN convert that to your hard drive afterward.

You could always manually cut and edit the actual tape. So much easier than editing wave files right?

Well I meant the sound, not editing, but it's allways interesting to use VST's as well

That was pretty epic, I like it when my favorite childhood themes are done metal style.
I heard a really good metal version of the legend of zelda theme.
