What key is Emancipation Suite - Part 2 in?

Hello... this is for a transcription project I'm currently working on for one of my college ear training classes. I've transcribed the guitar and vocal lines up through where the vocals end, but I'm having a really tough time figuring out exactly what key this song is in.
I believe the song starts with a G# minor chord, but I'm having a hard time making sense of the progression the song uses, or if it's modulating to another key when the rest of the band kicks in. Could some other experienced musician help me out? I'd really appreciate it.

Hi there.
The whole song is in Ab minor.
The chord progression is Abm F# B C#m
And when the band kicks in is Ebm E F# Eb (here you can say it changes to Eb phrygian, which is the same than Ab minor).
During the solo it repeats the first chord progression. The strange thing about this song is the time signature, 7/8.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, I know there's much more than 4/4. But I mean 7/8 is quite uncommon for a Strato song.

Subdivide the notes, you can play 7/8 in 4/4. (or just count 12 12 123.)
