I know how to play the black dimmond and kiss of judas
but , i don't know what effect jens use in ur solos ^^
on black dimmond and kiss of judas I use analong dual whit sawtoot lead (good effect for solos ) ...
but doens't stay equal the original effects ~~
I think if the effect from kiss of judas is charang lead, but that effect doesn't exist in my keyboard
tell me what you know abaut that ^^
my keyboard is good , but is for beginners (well I am beginner )... is PSR-295 6 octaves 400 effects =D

The lead Jens, use is the ...."jenslead"...a sound made by himself, originally made with the Korg Polysix, now with the jv-1080 Roland module, going through a dist box (morley jd-10).

It's basically a saw wave (PWM)...>flanger effect>distorsion>light chorus and delay(works better than reverb in leadsound).

I think that with your actual gear you cant reach that sound, you need a synthesizer...because you must work with the filter(cutoff,resonance) etc etc...to model the sound in a certain way.

you can buy an used synth...cheaper,it's good for a beginner, my first synth is an used one...

Try Korg or Roland synths...for the Jens lead they really work nicely (Korg:Triton's series, T1, Polysix, Poly61...etc etc & Roland:Jv-1080, Jv-1010, Jv-2080, Jd-800(wich has a good saw lead)etc etc.

Try www.sonicstate.com go to "synthsite"...you'll find a lot of info of a lot of synths.
I havent any Black Diamond solo recorded...check MagoLari's one(really nice)
