Uber-technical Death Metal?

So no love for Death metal on this forum? SOME people here must like it! I'm talking about the really extreme stuff, Cannibal Corpse, Origin, Nile, Suffocation, Cryptopsy, you know! Who here listens to it?
I'm a huge Nile fan, and Origin totally kick ass as well. Anyone here listen to that stuff, or even play it? It's pretty technically demanding!

I've never given much attention to extreme metal, although I know that some bands are technically very good at it. I'm probably not one to judge them though

I've always sticked to melodic metal, and some more thrashier one.
I know these bands by name, I've never heard any of them more than once.

Yeah, Wintersun is melodic death metal band from Finland. It's übercool and the music rocks hard! Shame that it's too underrated.

Cannibal Corpse and Obituary aren't really technical?
If you like those bands, then check out Nile. All their stuff is based on Ancient Egyptian texts, and they use a lot of eastern-sounding riffs and effects. Plus, with In Their Darkened Shrines they virtually created a new genre, 'Epic Death Metal'.
Origin are the most extreme of extreme bands. They're just sick.

I might check Origin just for the fun of it. As for Nile, they sound really interesting. I'll definately check them out.

i know Nile man...its excellent
my point is...if you compare with Death, of course they arent so much techinical. Chuck's songs have awesome tech. solos, if you compare with Obituary arent so much.
