I mean, I have no problem with regular forum members who want to promote their musical activities (like Holy Light and Aresius, amongst others, even I have promoted a few things) because they're members of this community and that's not the single sole reason they post here.

But it pisses me off when people just register onto the forum, and say 'Listen to my band!' with their first posts and then never post again. We're not an advertising board, okay?

Um, we're FAR more likely to take an active interest in your band and actually listen to some stuff if you actually contribute something to this community. Otherwise you're just like that DesignPromote idiot who comes and posts in Cyrillic script and noone can understand what the hell he's talking about.

Its rude if you never posted at these boards in your life, register, make one post trying to promote your band, and then never post again.

mmm, maybe you are right with this, if you register should also talk about strato, but it doesnt bother me
