Speed of light (piano arrangement)

Here musicians can talk to each other about making music etc. Of course if you are not a musician you are still welcomed to this board, but the topics should somehow be about making music.

Did you do this on your own or with some music program?

To me it sounds like was programmed and then recorded through a keyboard - hence not actually being physically played

Could be wrong, but just sounds fake

Its been phisically played, it sounds midi cause my keyboard is not an acustic piano, if you listen carefully, you will find that 3 pianos have been recorded, I had to use a technique similar to the Franz Liszt Etudes, to make it sounds really fast.

Now, Ive been making piano arrangements all my life, Ive never cheated, Ive studied piano for many years, even though I play Rachmaninoff, but first of all Im guitarist

Well, if your guitar skills surpass those of your piano playing then I most definetly would like to hear any recordings you have
Close your eyes and try to remember, destroyed lullabies of days gone by
Close your eyes on the edge of forever, a chance to dream fast asleep your nightmare ends

Yes, if you want me to show you a guitar recording Ill send it in the next 24 hours, its a song I used to play a long while whne I had a band, we recorded it in Spain.

Now listen to the "Black Diamond--Orchestral Re-Arrangement" which is in the forum, and you ll find the real midi sound, it doesnt sounds like my arrangement, If you dont know guys what Im talking about listen to Campanella which is an etude made by Franz Liszt and you will find how fast you can repeat a single note on a piano.

Neon Vomit I dont really know why I live so far either, but lets have fun here

Liszt is my FAVOURITE COMPOSER EVER!!!! I've done studies on his work (I'm a music student at university) for further rapid playing of a single note, listen to 'Totentanz, paraphrase on the 'Dies Irae'' S.126. Truly incredible.

Correct, it's a midi. I changed the four guitars and the vocals to pianos, and added some strings, the whole thing was done in about an hour..
