Hey all, Im looking for a fairly inexpensive (under $500 new) guitar I can play decent metal on. I've already got one I can play clean tone on but it has only 21 frets and a thick neck. I'm looking for one that has 24 large frets, a flat-ish neck (like the wizard II), humbuckers and possibly a floyd rose or some type of floating trem.

I've been considering the Ibanez RG 350 MDX for a while. Any suggestions?

Ibanez's are great for starting!

My brother is getting an Ibanez soon, and as metal.robyn said, you won't find a better guitar to start with than an Ibanez

An LTD 250 or 400 might be a good choice, they play and sound great for their price.
