Re: What do you read?
Stephen King
Clive Barker
Some Classics(Wuthering Heights-my fav)
Books about Nutrition/Diets
Books about movies
I used to read Romance Novels but, thank God I outgrew that shit-its pure fantasy!
I also read controversial books like The Turner Diaries by Andrew McDonald(William Pierce)
Books about conspiracy theories, cults, and shit like that.
Biographies, unless it gossip-type crap.
Really, I'm not that picky---if it interests me, I read--if not, I don't.

Re: What do you read?
Stephen King, Battle Angel Alita and the books, that my Hungarian teacher tells me to read.
I sometimes read books in English, but not the original books; books, that are written again, with less word. I like the upper intermediate books, as they contain about 3000 different word.

Re: What do you read?
Who has read Stephen King's Dark Tower? I have read all the old four books, and I just can't wait to hold in my hand the next three.

Re: What do you read?
I read about 20 books a year. It's alright, but I hope to increase it to 30. I read mainly famous writers' books: Hermann Hesse, F. Dostojevski, Ernest Hemingway, John Steinbeck, Kurt Vonnegut to name a few. I'm not really into fantasy or science fiction, although Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is one of my favourites. My most recent reads have been Vonnegut's Deadeye Dick and Dostojevski's Notes From The House Of The Dead. Right now I am reading Hermann Hesse's Narcissus and Goldmund, or whatever the translation is, I'm reading the finnish translation. I write stuff too, mainly short essays, self-exploration, deep thinking, that sort of thing. I have written some short stories but they are not really that good, quite amateurish stuff. I think you have to be well read to be a well-rounded writer. I think I will develop as I get older, and hope to publish something in the future. Maybe a novel.
I spend a lot of time playing guitar and thinking about music and band projects and so on, so music in my life is maybe more prevalent than literature right now.

Re: What do you read?
I usually read philosophic books like Nietzsche's, Marx's, Plato's or Freud's ones. But I sometimes read humour books or sci-fi novels, horror stories, etc. I read almost everything except for romantic literature, Dragonlance shits (and these kind of books that are only written to sell) or other things I just can't (now) think of.
I am currently reading Freud's "The Dream's Interpretation" (or something similar, I don't know how is it in English) and Nietzsche's "Ecce Homo". Excellent books, both of them.

Re: What do you read?
I use to look for books to read but then I found my life in a struggle, I couldn't just get up and feel like I was fixed ... so I started reading Spiritual material ... from the Holy Bible to books about growth, strength and better direction ... I must add that in my whole life not one book as touched me like books with great meaning such as the Holy Bible and many more!

I'm all into Latin literature. Ancient poetry, epics, and prose. I'm translating Tacitus for my class this semester. Other than Latin, I read about politics and history.

Re: What do you read?
I don't read nearly as often as I used to. I make up for it with the volumes I read online and in other places. The last book I read was Mario Puzo's "The Godfather" several months ago. It's just as good as the movie.

I wonder if they are turning all five books into movies, or just the first part.
