Well, for me "Fear of the Dark" maybe the favourite, since the title track and few other songs just greats.

Re: Alltime Iron Maiden album?
Hard to say. I could clearly name my least favourite, which happens to be No Prayer...
I voted for Brave New World, as it was my very first Metal album, and i still think that it has a very special atmosphere on tracks like BNW, Blood Brothers and Nomad... and Dream of Mirrors.. and Ghost of the Navigator.. and so on
The perfect kick-ass metal album from Maiden is Powerslave though, which is second on my list.

It's really hard to choose... for me all Maiden albums (except the ones with blaze) are excellent.
however I chose Powerslave... and the second one is Number of the Beast.

Somewhere in Time...the musics and the artwork rules....impossible to choose only one...i know, but...i think SIT a classic and them shows the first steps to the power metal...u can see more power things, but i think in a porgressive way in 7th son of a 7th son

Don't have all the albums, but my vote goes to "7th Son", followed by "Somewhere in Time".

Re: Alltime Iron Maiden album?
I come with the first, because without it there would not be the others. It's the most influent Maiden album and the most covered, and it contains the song "Iron Maiden", the most Maidenish song ever created.

^^^ I think X-factor has few killer-tracks, but I have to admit.. don't like Blaze's singing at all :-/
But still, best album ever from IM even you just look the cover to make decision, Somewhere in...

Re: Alltime Iron Maiden album?
Agreed guys. I finally could listen to his solo-material...
But i kind of like X-Factor a lot...the War/Sadness Theme in those songs is really involving...and the cover´s great too!

X Factor blows everything else out of the water
Re: Alltime Iron Maiden album?
Few questions are easier for me to answer... Piece Of Mind all the way.
Re: Alltime Iron Maiden album?
Both of them (Number... and 7th) are probably the albums of Maiden that established a certain level in metal standards, but also Piece of Mind set up the typical sound of the band, with Powerslave.

Re: Alltime Iron Maiden album?
It´s hard to choose only one. Even Fear of The Dark can be chosen , because it´s a really well done album full of good moments, although it was released in the grunge era and the best years of Metallica and Guns´n´Roses, and probably lot of people didn´t pay enough attention to this excelent album.
