Did I ever say I hate Stratovarius? They happen to be one of my favorite bands just for the fact that Timo Tolkki breaks out some of the most brilliant songs about 3 or 4 times an album. It's ridiculous how he fills the rest of albums with filler re-written garbage.

Except for Visions, that was a near perfect LP. So everyone get off your high horses. 8)
But quite well selling re-written garbage :)
I´m so lazy sometimes, so I just recycle some songs you know. :D
But many people like the songs and that makes me happy:)
I make my songs mainly to myself and if someone likes them, that of course makes me even happier. As an artist, I have an inner need to create music and all my songs are my babies. I love and cherish them all.
I´ve written well over 100 songs for Strato, lots of babies:)

But to get into a fight because of piece of music, that I don´t really understand. Please channel your negative energy into something more productive and useful. Take a walk in the nature, or pay attention what´s happening around you. Those are much more important things than getting into a fight because of random notes somebody created.

Ok last message for you Porter:

1) usually people tell me that i´m intelligent :D
don´t know what they say about you irl but in this forum it´s not too much nice stuff i think (i´m human i can be false  )
And sorry idiot wasn´t the right word...

2) about the lie: i know him too good than to believe you that he send you flaming PMs. It´s a serious lie, because if the mods believe you and you go on with such stuff they could ban him.
So please think before you do something like that again.

3) It´s not my fault if he doesn´t listen to me :D I told him not to waste his time on you, but like i said what you wrote was serious
so it´s no wonder he feels pissed of
don´t you think so?
And now I am wasting my time, but ok he is my time worth.
Don´t come to the idea i am writing because of you.

4) =P I know too good it´s not usual for him to cry so go on with dreaming

Tolkki has an excellent point, though. It's getting harder and harder to write songs without have two or three notes sound like other melodies from other songs written by other bands. Plus, he enjoys writing and performing music, therefore makes him feel better. Just enjoy the music. If it's gonna be a problem, let the original writers of the melody talk to him. Don't be such a shithead and bring more crap to him.
Somehow I still have an account...yay...?

What fight? I'm just expressing my opinion about your music. Is that against the rules? It's quite obvious that we have a lot of closed minds here.

A fight would be a lot different. A fight would be when someone who is a jerk, creates a thread to single out one person. *cough*

Asamandra, seriously, after that sorry excuse of a post, you're opinion is no longer valid to me. Please say something intellegent if you claim that you are.

Open your mind Neo. I can critique Timo's music as much as I want. I'm not ripping on the way he feels on the inside, sheesh if it makes him happy, power to him mate. I can still say whatever I want about the final output. That's called an opinion.

Oh and nice little add-in at the end of your post. You are indeed pathetic. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, it's the blind insult at the end of your post. Real mature mate.

Hello Mr. Tolkki, I can't wait until you tour the U.S. :) You were kidding about the "I'm so lazy sometimes, so I recycle..." right? :? I mean I notice similarities in your songs, but I didn't think you were being lazy. I thought that that was your style of playing. Besides, if you were being lazy, that means you have an unbelievable talent when it comes to compostion! Now if the lazy comment were true, I can only imagine the potential of your skills if you were to try! :P I actually liked your Classical Themes and Variations cd. I think that cd shows a side of you playing as you described as coming from within. I would love to hear you do another one of those albums again and hear you play music that you are truly felling right now. Your life has taken some twists and turns, but it looks like you're back on the path to a Glorious Future. I do love your songs
and your music. You are making a difference. I salute you Tolkki.

Hail Stratovarius!
