I was able to rip every cd with copy protection... so there really isnt a use. It obviously only works with car radios and portable cd players

On the other hand, there arent many metal albums with copy protection.. i have.. maybe three or four and all new releases i bought over the last year (i think) were not protected, its already dying, and obviously not that popular among metal labels...

Well, that is true, but in my case there is no rush, and I use it 'cuz I can't seen to find that thing in iTunes, perhaps I haven't look good enough, but...u're right that thing sucks.cliff wrote:MMJ is a great program but new version by new version, it is tended to become slower and slower, because of all those online radios + downloading features that are possible only for USA residents.Equinox wrote:For that's why there is a program callled MusicMatch Jukebox.MaFiaBoY wrote:Well, this "copy protection" can easily be broken but yeah, it's very annoying. If you have an album with it and want to make mp3s tu put on your iPod, no way. So basically you payed 15€ for an album you can't listen to whenever you want..

Well, since you asked...
To be honest, I never really liked Kotipelto's syllable-stretching. For example, check out the line "as we are reaching the end" in "Visions". In my opinion, the music would require a lyrical line consisting of nine syllables to flow smoothly, but there's only seven. Thus, Koti has to sing the line like "as we AA-AARE reaching THEE-EEE end..." Now, try singing "as we're GET-TING CLO-SER TO the end" on top of the music. Sounds a lot better, not?

How do I say this without being branded an asskisser?
I'll just say it,how I feel, because nobody owns Stratovarius:
I think their music is fine the way it is. Some albums are different, for instance Koti did sing higher in ElementsI, but that was the theme--the way it was meant to be.
As for the "cheesy" part, I do not get it
I, personally, like the music the way it is. Period.
Of course, I have had no musical training to know A from B from C on a scale. I just know what sounds good to my ears. And, I am satisfied with the sound/music of Stratovarius!

I chose CottonCandy as my nick 'cause I'm sweet, soft, and pink!
Being "in the know" is not necessarily a good thing.
