War of the Worlds
It wasn't too bad, nice and dark, except for the ending...

HERE BE SPOILERS
.

.
.
Death by bacteria/virii? What sort of alien invasion is this?
"Yeah, we've been planning this invasion for a million years or so, but when we finally came here, we forgot to wear protective suits. The budget wouldn't cover it."

I mean, seriously, that's almost as bad as uploading a Mac virus to the alien mothership mainframe...

SPOILERS END

Monsters Inc. is a legend! Great movie!

Well I watched 'the Predator' and all I can say is 'Wou!'.

+ Arnold 'The Governor' !!!
+ Action in every aspect
+ Hunting
+ "You are one ugly motherfucker!"
+ Macho!

- Special effects almost took over
- Whole battalion of guerillas didn't match bunch of Special Forces?
- Not so realistic

One of the best action movies so far.

It's the end of the book also ... It was kinda nice to finally see someone not completely butchering the source material ...

Yes, Predator is awesome movie. Arnold's best movie! And Arnold's movies are never very realistic, and why they should be? And if there is ugly spacemonster Predator, who wants realism? Like Alien -movies, Predator is classic. It's shame that Predator II and Aliens 3 and Resurrection weren't so good than truly spacemonster movies: Alien, Aliens and Predator.

I am not sure about that. Terminator 2 is great, too, and I haven't seen so much of his movies.

Orgazmo. This is an extremely funny movie from the creators of South Park, Trey Parker play a young mormon who accidently gets a job in porn industry ...

Charlie And The Chocolate Factory - well, Tim Burton&Johnny Depp do it again - amazing weird-looking film ... I'll probably go and see it again ...
2 seasons of Spaced, british sitcom created by Simon Pegg - watch it, it's one of the funniest things ever made.

Shaun Of The Dead - Simon Pegg strikes again, it's a british version of a zombie movie, a romantic comedy ... with zombies. Hillarious stuff ...

First season of new Doctor Who - IMO the best sci-fi series today. Great acting, great writing, I rewatched almost every episode for 3 or 4 times, it never gets boring ...

Few serials of old Doctor Who - Genesis Of The Daleks, Earthshock, Caves Of Androzani, Curse Of Fenric, The Five Doctors, City Of Death. I liked them all, despite the low budget look (if you've seen 80s BBC's version Hitchhiker's Gude, it's the same sort of SFX), favorites are City Of Death and Curse Of Fenric ...

I watched Buried Alive 2 from the TV and it sucked big time. It was described a thriller, but I'd say it was nothing more than a comedy. The subject of the movie was not frightening at all. I strongly recommend you don't watch this movie.

Yesterday night I saw

4 Brothers.

And it made it to my top ten.

It's great.

It has emotions, action, violence, blood, fun....shit, and a woman, wich I can't recall her name.

Y'all should go see it.

Yesterday I saw Men In Black at Tv.

I had seen MIB II and all reviews normally said that this first movie is better than second. Unfortunately I noticed that it wasn't. MIB II really was much better. But this isn't bad. Tommy Lee Jones specially was (again) super cool and Will Smith Too. It's ok movie.
My opinion: 7.5/10
(MIB II: 8.5/10)

Anyone like the Hellraiser Series? The Latest one&the last, is when Pinhead sets up Portal to Hell on-line. Lance Hendrickson is the villianous sucker that Pinhead uses in this film to lure gullible compter lovers to their doom.

There is supposed to be a Theatre movie in a while-couple years, maybe-- which will Kill off Pinhead for good. Scott Bakula is slated to play the guy who psychologically lures Pinhead into becoming his past human form--Elliot Spencer, a German SS officer(how appropriate for Pinhead)who becomes riddled with guilt over his SS&Pinhead doings, and commotts suicide. Ergo--End of The Pincushion Monster with the silver tongue&smartass attitude! =P

 Spoiled that one! :err:

Last weeek I saw (once again) Stand By Me. It's a little movie based upon a semi-autobiographic story of S. King. It's not a horror film, but a very beautiful (for me) story about friendship and growing up. I really like it and I usually use this movie in my teaching...

More about Hellworld:

Shows quite a few clips from the DVD. Seems interesting.
And, Mr. Hendrickson always makes a bad villian.

well, i saw Stephen King's IT, i was VERY dissapointed by the ending (no offense to anyone by the following!) THE JEW WAS A PUSSY! i would have prefered that they all die, but otherwise it was very fun :)

although nothing on the new Amitiville (it takes a lot to seriously scare the hell out me, that one came very close :))

I went and saw "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" this past weekend. I enjoyed it. Some freaky parts but overall not really scary. I don't think that being scary was this films main goal though. I beleive it's goal is to make you think. Good movie. Linda Blair can rest easy though, "The Exorcist" is STILL the scariest movie dealing with possession.

Saw "xXx State of the Union" tonight. Decent. Cheesy, a bit unbelievable. OK action. Somewhat humorous. Samuel L. Jackson is one of my all time favorite actors so I gave it a shot. I liked the first xXx a little better. Samuel, and Ice Cube did a good job, I think the material was a little weak though.

I am looking forward to "The Da Vinci Code" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" movies due out around Christmas time.

I saw "Der Untergang". I don't know the name in English, but it's a movie based on a book that Hitler's secretary, Traudl Junge, wrote, since she stayed with him in his Berlin bunker when it was finally taken by the allies, very interesting since it's a German film, not a lousy American one. I also saw IT by Stephen King a couple of weeks ago... I thought it would be scary as hell but it wasn't, actually it made me laugh most of the time
