Great Idea, HTL! ;) That way it will be just one nice big topic to read instead of each single person having one seperate. :)

Yeah, you all please do that! I like that idea! :)

it was really surprising when they annouced they'd play visions... I got shocked and I screamed so much that my voice is gone :o

That was a killer show... belive me, the guys rocked, the orions rocked, everything was perfect, except that it was really hot inside. Also on the outside :yuk: around 28° C and we're in winter! :(

I couldn't get closer to the stage, because as I supposed the crowd was about to kill themselves there, only Strago managed to get closer to the stage and he carried the banner we did saying "Jens is God" and with mine, his and Uli's name on it.
He saw it from stage and pointed it... I've heard the other members got a bit jelous about that  I hope they recorded it!
Now I'm preparing for going to BH... it'll be a calmer gig, it's their first time in BH and I'm not sure if there are a lot of metal fans in there.
But it'll rock anyway! I can't get enough from Stratovarius music :D

I'll leave to Rio in the next day and meet Felipe (HymntoLife)
Are you ready for party?

I woke up at 1 o clock ( yes. i am lazy ), and about 3 o clock pm my friends came to my house.. we went to buy a small camara ( total waste of money ) and eat some stuff... there was no water in my house so i went to the bathroom in several oportunities just in case

At 5o clock i went to the place where they played... the traffic was hard so i arrived at 6:30... I skip some of the line to enter the show because i found a friend.

Me and my friends entered "obras" more or less at 8pm:

I was almost in the front waiting for the kapel maister gig wich started at 9 pm. They played from the album 3 songs: immortal kiss, never to far and final symphony.. they also played some new songs. The ppl like it, most of them didnt know them, i did.

Then we wait for strato while we were seeing in some screens a video of strato in buenos aires in some places.. really cool

After a while the gig started, the setlist has been posteed above.

The energy it was just amazing!.. 4000 people screaming, jumping and killing each other toget to the front. i went out of the whole "pogo" thing to buy a "coca cola " and i found some friends.. then went back and enjoy the gig.

It was the best show i ever went to.. everthing was perfect, the sound, the smile in the face of the strato guys, even tolkki. I never got more "broken" in a show hehe but it was worth it!

Who knows? :o

Stratovarius returned from the ashes stronger than before! :P
I have seen Strato 3 times before, but I can say that this time was the better!
The crowd was loud, the band great. And I think Lauri is the right man for the bass, he have a lot of energy in the stage.
Ohh and I knew Cristiane and Dawn_is_here (Uli)!! They are sweet girls!
It was really an incredible day. :D

Hey! What a great idea for a topic. i'm seeing them on sept 25th, so I'll write something, i guess :P

damnit! they're opening with "maniac dance"?! I hate that song... one of the few stratovarius songs i can't stand. well, when sonata arctica played "blinded" or whatever it's called live, i liked it, but i really didn't care for it on the album. hopefully "maniac dance" will sound better live, hey?

Blinded no more, you mean? It's the only song I never listen to of all the Reckoning Night CD :D
And as to Maniac Dance, I totally agree. It sucks.

I agree with iron_thunder that the Blinded No More (from SA) sounds good live but is something interesting on CD.

I wonder why they can´t open the gigs with United. Wish they´d change the places together with MD and United. :P

It took me and Uli a while till we could upload the pics, but they're here...
we've chosen the best ones, most of them got blurred and some are too far... but this is good anyway!
All I can say about the gigs is that they were perfect, each one in it's particular way.
The first gig I was in the 3rd row and it was really cool and all the others I was far from stage,
right next the sound table and I must say it was amazing watching the gigs from there.
I could listen all the instruments so well that the band never sounded that clear to me before, it was amazing!
The problem is that it made me deaf for 2 days!
Except for the SP gig, all the others went really calm, I mean, the guys looked relaxed and having fun...
recording a dvd ain't that easy I'm sure. And it was really fucking hot inside the venue in SP and I wouldn't dare to go
among the crowd, otherwise I'd be smashed :buh:
But Strago went there and survived!
Actually he took the banner we did to Jens and he saw it...
I heard the other guys in the band got pretty jealous about it ;)
Good job Strago!
Anyway, great gigs, great guys, great friends, everything went perfect...
and I could never get tired of seing this band alive. Long live Strato :-)

Now some pics of the gigs, I hope this %&# works because it gave me lots of trouble and took me my lunch time :x :D

And you are really kind, thanks! :kiss1:

The pics are basically from Porto Alegre, Rio and BH. In SP we were kinda far from stage and the pics aren't very nice...
Thanks to Uli for the job in BH and Rio! While she was killing herself to take those pics I was far enjoying the gig

Hey Criss!

Thanks for uploading our pics! The advantages of free internet... 8)

Finally I got to this cyber after fighting this weird weather of sun/rain/sun/storm/sun of here! :x I had to buy an umbrella in the street or I would be soaking wet right now :D .

The shows were absolutely awesome! The Strato guys gave everything on the stage, they are getting along really good and are always polite and nice with everybody. They all are real gentlemen and cool guys :)

Defenitely the best week of my life :)

Rock On!
