Don't ask stupid questions, of course its what he wants.
And I don't blame him.
Why would turn down all those millions?

Of course Strato needs a musical publicity, so I ha to vote for it.

But I wonder your opinions of MD, Aresius. First you said that ýou don´t like it much, then you said it´s though a good song and now you´re saying it´s the worst at all. I just find that strange.

I voted too. I agree with you, Cliff that all of those artists suck. I can't believe what was so great with the Rasmus when they were "big gigs". The band's music sounds horrible even without adding Lauri's awful voice. :puke:

Well, the video seems to be purposely made for MTV and mass audiences... sex sells, let's face it. Girls with too much makeup and too little clothes are responsible for billions of dollars of (legal!) sales a year, I betcha.

I don't see why we should keep Strato for ourselves like a bunch of arogant elitists. "We don't want people to know who Strato are when I wear my Strato shirt in the supermarket/college/school/kindergarten" ?? Think of the positive vibes and uplifting you have got from Strato over the years. I was annoyed that I had never heard them years before. Who are we to deny that to others? We need to be possessive of music? Don't confuse pride with plain elitism.

There are millions of teenagers in Germany listening to Nightwish, but that does not affect how much I like them.. why should it?

I don't see that it means Nightwish have sold out or are less honest in their music, they don't choose tehir audience. However, they probably do choose whether to make 2-3 shirts or 10-15 shirts for each album.

Selling out IMO means not being honest in the music, not popularity or amount of cash they make.

I don't have a problem with Strato on MTV. As a mass, we listen to too much commercial, insincere music made to make money. Genuine music and concerts without miming have gotta benefit people... the evolution of society?

I'm stereotyping here, there are probably some ppl in Pop that write from the heart. Ooopsie, I'm an elitist!

True, singles are often not representative of a whole album.

I find SA's Winterheart's Guild totally great, and the one dull track to me is Victoria's Secret. Guess which is the singe...

Ditto for Nightwish's Once IMO... I wish I had an Angel is so.... commercial. But there are some of the most amazing songs NW has ever written on that album.

My bf does not like Strato, but he had only ever heard Black Diamond, Hunting, Paradise etc... He is being educated.  And I'm learning to like Manowar, just don't tell anyone.

whats wrong with manowar?

and i liked the whole winterhearts guild, victorias secrete is so-so but the solo is jens at his finest so for that the song jumps from a 4 to a 9 instantly in my playbook

All I can say is: Its about time! :rvd:

Now, is it going to be hopefully broadcast on MTV-USA also? :)

And, I have been saying this for years, that Stratovarius should be on MTV&VH-1! :)

And, btw, I Love Victoria's Secret! ;)

That number is not the counter of the votes, but how many weeks is it on the chart.

That chart won't update in realtime but only once a week on Mondays.
The chart is voted for by you so check out the videos, and make sure to cast your vote below or via sms. Then watch the show every Monday at 13:30 CET to see if your pick made the countdown.

Of course I voted for Strato. I guess not posting votes is a good idea--that can either encourage, or discourage according to how the numbers are going.
