Absolutely indescribable. Totally... I am left speechless by this.

Naer Mataron are a Greek black metal band from Athens. Abso-fuckin-lutely incredible. No keyboards or symphonic elements, but still so melodic and powerful and dramatic. I'm currently listening (been listening to it for the past month non-stop, apart from Skepticism) to their album Skotos Aneon and for me it has redefined what cold, bleak, harsh black metal is all about. They seriously put most Scandinavian black metal bands to shame in terms of sheer passion and songwriting.

Any black metallers, do yourselves a favour and check them out.

Well.. I do like black metal. But usually only the more melodic/symphonic style, such as Cradle of Filth.

But I think I'll find some samples from these guys and listen.

After listening to The Continuity of Land and Blood..

My opinion is that these guys are very good. But, probably, only to the deep appreciators of the style. As I said, I prefer more symphonic stuff

I definitely recommend it though.

If you like more symphonic/melodic stuff, you DEFINATELY have to listen to some Deviser, another Greek black metal band. Their album 'Running Sore' is something I bet you'd love.
