Re: Similar Songs
The beggining of Iron Maiden's Two Minutes to Midnight is similar to several songs. One I recall right now is Grave Digger's Heavy Metal Breakdown.
However! Both songs date back from 1984! So nobody knows which one came first

The song Guarded from the new Disturbed cd 10 Thousand Fists reminds me of Track # 7 (or was it track # 9) from Stefan Elmgren's First Strike. I can't remember the name of the song though.

Stratovarius's Forever Free and Strato's I'm Still Alive.
I can also say that the beginning of Running Wild's song Dancing On A Minefield has same melody than in 2 Minutes to Midnight. (Dancing On A Minefield has done in 1994, btw)Twilight Legionnaire wrote:The beggining of Iron Maiden's Two Minutes to Midnight is similar to several songs.
