In Italian 'tears' is lacrime. It could also be related to Latin's lacrimo, lacrimosus, and lacrimulae.

I was in a band called Malicious Intent. I was not their original guitarist, but I was better than the guy I replaced. We played out and had a few demos. Nothing big, but a lot of great memories.

Heres a confession. I can burp louder than anyone I know, and, I can hold the burp for up to 10 seconds. Sprite, 7-up, and Mountain Dew trigger this more than any other beverage.

Not exactly what I want written on my epitaph, and not exactly an employable skill, but a talent no less.

Violence Leads Nowhere

Post by Miguel_Ricardo » Mon Nov 14, 2005 9:03 pm

Saturday midday:

I was practicing with my band, we didn't played together since october 7th , all seemed to be ok.
I only carried my synth, I usually play with 2 keyboards, but one adaptor got broken, so I left one in home.
I knew we were going to sound mediocre, but's just practicing.

One hour later

My synth started to turn off by itself, I checked the adaptor, the voltage was wrong it was at "9" and it had to be at "12".
Problem solved.............. well not yet!

At the end of the last song it turned by mistery off again... I started to worry...

Sunday Night:

I unpacked the keyboard from it's bag, and started to play, it worked ok.
Suddenly the 2nd B# strated to fail... I started to get nerveous... pressed it harder and fixed it...
2 minutes later all keys started to sound together (like if I was pressing the sustain pedal but it wasn't even plugged), turned off and on.... no keys worked, complete silence... BANG! a punch right in the middle fixed it...
2 minutes later the same happened with the B#... I was so freacking nerveous I kicked my old Kawai K1 II ass pretty hard untill I heard some noises insede, like nails falling... the screen got with weird letters....
off/on
I fixed all the keys! it works great!!!

but

All memory is lost.... (only 2 sounds remain, I don't know why are they still working...) but the leads I made, hammonds, choirs, and some presets I had where all gone...

---------VIOLENCE LEADS NOWHERE-----

So the message of this story is :treat nice your instruments! or you'll regret it!

this is something to admire and envy.

i confess, as if you all didn't already know, that i am an idiot. and that 'this situation' is larger than i admitted to hvymtletc... though i appreciate her time and words through it all. it's just... bigger, somehow. still. that local problem was enough to rant and rave about... and it mademe feel so stupid to talk about it. as though relationships are It.

fuck me. if anybody can suggest a way out...

i didn't have the guts to confront my father about something in person, so i sent him an email. that was pretty cowardly. i didn't wnt to have a conversation about it though, so i told him in the email "don't reply to this, and we won't talk about it. you just had to know" kind of thing.

i feel really bad, but... hell. maybe it was the best thing to do.

i love the sound of cats eating dry food. it's just this random rattling around from somewhere on the floor... it's very obscure and comforting at the same time
