Post by Baluba » Tue Nov 15, 2005 7:15 pm

Hey to you all!
I just wonder here..
Do anyone of you remember the setlist for Nightwish's show in Helsinki on october 21st?
It would be great to know this, since it will be on DVD sooner or later...
And how was the show?
Did they play well, and so on?
The silence wich fills our hearts...
The Black Silence...

That was a cool list. But I'm no big fan of GLS, Beauty Of The Beast is a damn lot better imo

Yeah I don't like GLS that much anymore but Beauty and the Beast is awesome on "From Wishes To Eternity=live) album. Tony from Sonata sings the beast :D

GLS is a bit too long song. You´re being to get bored while listening to it whole.

Sonata Arctica opened the show with one hour set. They were awesome as usual and got the sold-out arena of 12 000 people going for good.

Nightwish had invited John Two-Hawks as their guest. Actually it is missing in the setlist above, but he performed solo his own song "Stone People" (from his CD "Honor") before he continued Creek Mary's Blood with Nightwish. He is really great musician and his own music is plain beautiful. With Nightwish they really blew the bank when playing CMB. The crowd gave them big cheers and clapped like no tomorrow when the song finished. The atmosphere was raised even more awesome if ever possible.

Extra stuff like pyros, fireworks, bombs and confetti cannons were in use more than ever on any previous Nightwish show. Also a big screen with cool videos matching each song was on the stage background.

A DVD 'End of an Era' filmed at the gig with 21 cameras and directed by Antti Jokinen should be released on June 5th, 2006 by Spinefarm Records. Don't miss it!

Sorry, but how about clicking the link I provided above and finding out yourself! I mean, what do we have this thing called 'Internet' for? There are plenty of samples from his songs on his website.
