not quite, episode has much more soul, but no images come to my mind (second favorite album dont get me wrong)

i just listened to lord of the wastelands and it reminded me of the phantom of the opera so fucking much, i do not know if its me or what but the keys and TKs voice brought it like a flashback

I like GALAXIES. It's an under-rated song in my opinion.
But I like We Hold the Key, too.

I mean, for example, that while Against the Wind is a good, fast opening track that kicks in with a thunderous guitar riff, Father Time is very similar to it - except better.
For me Fourth Dimension kind of blends Dreamspace and Episode, but doesn't do it in a good way. I think both DS and Episode are much better than 4th Dimension.

I agree totally and didn't want to start a new topic on it...
But ever notice Elements at 7:16 sounds like Phantom of the Opera too? Lord of rhe wasteland is like the boat scene and Elements is like rooftop scene (or end of act 1 in real show).... crazy.

4th Dimension is an amazing album--so very good, IMO.
Against the Wind was the 1st StratoSong I ever heard&I started to like the music at once from listening to that song.
Galaxies is my second fav, followed by We Hold the Key.
The remaining songs are very good as well--even 030366 isn't bad at all!
Koti's debut album--very special to him&the band, I'm sure!

Bob: I don't believe in God.
Archangel Michael: That's OK, Bob, because He doesn't believe in you, either!~Legion~

Fourth Dimension isn't the best album of Stratovarius, but it has their best song ever, We Hold the Key. This release is in the top-3 of Strato.
So you children of the world, listen to what I say

Sorry Pete, but I've never liked Destiny THAT much

Don't worry, it's still the best song on Earth.

I agree with you. We Hold the Key is brilliant!

Definately a TOP 3 or 4 song (the other ones are Season of Change, Infinity and Eternity). :music:
I agree with you too about Destiny.

Think too that Pete knows that already...

No, he can't be talking about Visions, as that is the best album.

Agreed in this case. But what about Twilight Symphony or We Hold the Key, or the mid-t Distant Skyes? Episode doesn't reach such the feeling we hear in these masterpieces, I think. Great album, however.

I forgot Distant Skies--that is a cool song, too....about TTs phobia of planes. I guess he is over that by now, hopefully!

I really like Distant Skies. Maybe that's the best with Against the Wind. I'd like to hear it live one day.

Fourth Dimension is not my favourite album, because there are some songs that are IMO only good but not very good (Winter, 030366), and I don't like the sound of the album.
BUT: It contains the BEST SONG EVER, that is Against the Wind!!!!! And some other masterpieces like Distant Skies, Galaxies (@browneyedgirl: I agree, that song is kind of neglected and underestimated), Twilight Symphony, Call of the Wilderness (I love to play that one by myself, it's such a cool piece of music)! So it's really a very good album, and it's special for me cuz it was the first one I've ever heard of Stratovarius.

4th Dimension has some real strato classics like We Hold the Key and Nightfall (far underrated masterpiece). But then there is also maybe the most underrated song of stato: 030366. Very very good song! Everything is cool and weird. Btw Tolkki's solo is great!
My japan edition of FR includes also Dreamspace live with Tolkki on vocals. Even better than the original album version! AWESOME!

Thats what I meant

I am a child of the '70s where there were no CDs--only albums, and so I still call CDs, albums!

For me the album cover is the booklet, and the CD cover is the circular thingy on the CD, so there was no offense or anything like that.
(P.S: for me the albums are the studio albums, and CDs are anything, that is CD... so Stratovarius has 12 albums in my eyes

)

Nightfall (far underrated masterpiece).
That's one of my favorite songs, I can listen to that several times in a row.
