Super Bowl predictions

Post by Jester » Sun Jan 29, 2006 11:18 am

I know there is at least two others here who follow American Football. Any predictions for the game? Who are you rooting for Pittsburgh or Seattle?

I believe on another thread I predicted that Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts would choke in the playoffs, and thats exactly what happened!

I'm going for Pittsburgh, thats a mouthful coming from a Cleveland fan.

Post your predicitons

I saw Pittsbugh's game against Cincinatti... that was just incredible. Both were playing great. I hope to see more matches, btu it's not easy, as they are on sunday midnight. :? (at least here, in Hungar,y it's already midnight)

Pittsburgh has a great defense, and they are playing very inspired football right now. I am predicting that the final score will look something like this, 34-17 Steelers over Seahawks.

I'm rooting for Pittsburgh even though I grew up hating the Steelers. The Cleveland Browns/ Pittsburgh Steelers rivalry is one of the best in football. The bad blood goes deep, like Israelis and Palestinians. All too often the rivalry spills over into the stands. I have a good friend who is a Steeler fan though, and he's coming over for the game so I told him I would root for the Steelers just this once, LOL!

34-17 Pittsburgh. Not even a close game.

LOL, this brings back memories. When I was married I was a Super Bowl widow  That was the one game my Ex always watched every year--he never missed. I think he still holds to that tradition, but I was never offended by the tradition, after all it's just once a year! =P

Everyone likes football, but I like the Super Bowl commercials---remember the Apple Computer one which did a 1984 George Orwell parody? =P

I think they're talking about that game where they carry the ball instead of kick it, but wear lots of protection as well.

As my girlfriend calls it, 'pussy rugby'
