The band KOTIPELTO will replace Teräsbetoni at FME.

Teräsbetoni's singer J Ahola has been ordered not to sing by the doctor, and the band Kotipelto is the replacement!
Kotipelto's last gig was last summer at Sauna Open Air in Tampere, so this is a rare treat. Timo will be singing in English rather than in Finnish, but we can guarantee that the "high and loud singing contingent" of FME will still be happy!

They will hit the stage around midnight on Friday. FME is at Kaapelitehdas.

Great new! Good luck to the band! :)

I guess the singer of Teräsbetoni has something like a too big flu for singing, at least he has some problems with his voice? :?

It's Finnish Music Expo. A sort of winter festival.

About the Teräsbetoni singer. Knowing how difficulty high is their singing, I'm not surprised he needs a rest :-)

Nice new and not nice at the same time :

nice because the band will be playing again and not nice because they'll play in Finland...

Damn!! I could've seen the gig! :S My friend asked me if I wanted to get a ticket to FME just today, and I declined because I was feeling really tired.. geez, if only I would've known about Kotipelto playing sooner, I sure would've gone. It would be only a 30min trip to FME from my home.

They played in Wacken last year. Unfortunately I didn't see them, can't remember why.

They play Manowar-style tr00-metal in Finnish, and got a huge popularity here in Finland with their debut last year. Mostly teens found the band too, I guess. IMHO, I don´t care about them, though the singer has quite good voice.

Hey, don't say anything like "farewell tour"!

ya know, even in my situation(live in north europe and have been to Finland & Sweden several times) i went back to CHINA to see their concert...
i think(i hope) their will consider the chinese market more from now, and come to china more often. i already saw Edguy's 2006 tour included one HK gig and one BEIJING gig! they are going to Beijing! amazing...
so it's possible that strato will do the same thing in the future. hope is loud, don't give up! :D
