It's not a question to sing high or not...we talked just about to be able to reach the high note, we talked about a rangevoice, not the quality only...

Sorry, it did not come out as I planned, I meant to say that many people say "Oh Y is not as good as X, he can't sing that high' I was not saying anyone in particular said so

If Eagle Fly Free is a high noted song, then he should reach the high notes.

that's the million question my friend, i know many people that think and believe that hitting high notes makes them awesome singers...so andi deris is not a good singer because he cannot reach those Kiske's tunes? bullshit, just take a listen to Russell Allen or Bruce Dickinson, they are not the classical Farinelli and they kick ass

eagle fly free is a helloween's classic, that's why they keep playing it, and the ones who like it should be kind to Deris, cause the logic points that it's not easy to sing, so the man is doing his best to please many fans

I agree with that.

Other thing more. ANDI DERIS IS ANDI DERIS and MICHAEL KISKE IS MICHAEL KISKE so, They can't be the same. I guess :?

Yeah, I agree. Is nice to a singer to reach the high notes, but i guess it is not necessary to be a great singer.
And,I like Deris's style, and also Kiske's style. Both, to me are great

@Did you ever watch the Stepen King movie, "IT"? :) I imagine that one would give a person with "clown-phobia" nightmares!

On-topic: Koti has given us the full range of his vocal abilites with the past few albums, and personally I like his mid-range voice the best--but, I have to admit I am impressed by the awesome way he handles those high notes&the hints of growling vocals on the latest album.

hey, thinking about non metal singers that guy from A-ha just came to my mind, Morten Harket... some may not be familiar with him, but I bet everybody here has already listened to "Take on me" once in life.
His voice is so beautiful, I think that would be nice =P

I think a forum is an useful info tool in the end... when people search and give us answers for what we're asking we don't need to google at all 8)

"Operation Mindcrime: 2" the CD is due to be released 4/4/2006 Having him guest on a Strato album would not be out of the question- as Jens played with his band for a while.

Without forgetting the fact that Kotipelto has said in public that Ronnie J. is his idol. :)
