Right, I'm sure most people use them for situations like this (which happen once every couple of years) and not to call their friends for trivial reasons while riding the bus because they can't wait ten minutes to get home and talk from there. How many times have I heard conversations like "Hello, I'm on the bus now. Ok, see you later". Is that really necessary? No!

It helps immensely when you turn up at a club and find your friends aren't there and have to wait for them and need to see where they are. Something might've happened and not allowed them from making it there on time.

Plus organising the night out in the first place is so much easier if everyone possesses a mobile telephone.

Mobile phones are great, I love them. They make life so much easier! And if you don't want it bothering you, just switch it off and tell everyone the battery ran out!
