19 to be precise!

Re: World Cup 2006
Brazil will win. It will be boring to watch.
But here's hoping Czech Republic make an impact, they have an excellent young team led by a true superstar, Nedved.

I like the Czechs. Nedved is strong and determined, but technically (and overall) my favourite Czech player is Poborsky, although he's getting close to retirement now.

Re: World Cup 2006
Apparently, Messi has recovered from his injury and he will probably play in the first game against Ivory Coast. Of course, in football you never know...

Re: World Cup 2006
It would be a good idea to post the players that have been chosen by the coaches to play the world cup. You guys should post your favourite teams or whatever you want.
Ok, here's Argentina's list:
Keepers: Abbondanzieri, Leo Franco, Ustari.
Defenders: Coloccini, Ayala, Heinze, Cufré, Burdisso, Milito, Scaloni, Sorín.
Midfielders: Maxi Rodríguez, Lucho González, Cambiasso, Mascherano, Aimar, Riquelme.
Forwards: Messi, Crespo, Tévez, Palacio, Saviola, Cruz.
Fucking Pekerman!!! He left out Zanetti and Agüero!!! Agüero is VERY similar to Messi in attitude, style of play and even physical complexion, although he's one year younger than Messi. And the first keeper should be Ustari and not fucking Abbondanzieri!

But you're right, they shouldn't have left Blanco outside the team....well, it's a family thing...isn't?

Re: World Cup 2006
Last time I checked, it wasn't official. Extraofficial results show that the votes in favour of independence have reached about 55.3% (they need at least 55% to become a separate state). If Montenegro becomes an independent state, I will have a good excuse and I'll be able to justify Argentina's elimination from the world cup. I can see it clear now:
".... they overpowered us; there were just too many of them... too many Serbians AND Montenegrins!!!"

Middle row: Coloccini, Burdisso, Lucho González, Heinze, Milito, Tévez, Cufré, Aimar.
Lower row: Ayala, Sorín, Maxi Rodríguez, Saviola, FUCKING Pekerman, Messi, Mascherano, Palacio, Cambiasso.

Today I watched something very great...
The Mexicans saying "Sí se puede!" ("yes, it's possible", or something like that)
It was beautiful!

I watched the England vs Hungary game earlier, England won 3-1 but I don't think they were up to a good enough standard for the worldcup yet, they must improve as a team and only one more friendly left before the finals!

I've discussed this in a cafeteria, and concluded that maybe Spain will be the surprise. If they win, I'll post a pic of mine the next day! If not, then in August!
