hi guys..
this singer is really incredible!!!!
I am not joking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a world guiness record vocal range

just follow this link

http://www.nicolasedda.com/main_ENG.php

then go to the download section and get the sample of the song "in another life"

listen carefully to the last 15 seconds

and also get the file "vocal range game"

by the way the songs he wrote and sings are worth to be listened as well

I still can't believe it

Oh yeah, that sounds so natural. 8)

In any case, I didn't like his singing. And there's no point in going so high just for the sake of going high and showing off. I don't know why a lot of people think that the highest you go, the better you sing (at least technically). Just one example: Roy Khan keeping his voice at a moderate pitch without going too high or too low sings a million times better than this guy.

Since he doesnt make songs with "life", like Kiske, its cool. The new Kiske album sounds like death...with no life, soul and etc.

Are you sure the singer made those high voices in the end? It didn't sound too natural to me neither.

But in case it is the singer (which I doubt)... wow! :o

Well, that's not singing at all. He can't really sing with those low and high tones because they are way too weak! He can only "exhibit" them. And the really high ones sound painful. Hearing them just makes my vocal chords hurt. It doesn't sound healthy.

I don't like his style either. And IMO he is not actual, at least not for the metal scene anymore. He gave interviews in which he said stupid things about metal. He has nothing to do in this business anymore, and he doesn't want to.

well...I was very skeptical too! I couldn't even imagine such a thing...my post was not a matter of good singing, but what he does is astonishing. He can sing as a bass and as a soprano! In any case you can listen to the songs he wrote. I advice "the sense of time"...you can hear that he is not just showing off!

I don't think he is showing off anything! If you can reach high tunes, why shouldn't you sing those notes? It is like you have a guitar and play using only three strings! And he is singing very high only in few moments! By the way, I don't think he can sing because he reaches high tunes, not at all! But in general I like the way he sings. Try to listen to one of the songs that are there (not just the sample)...

with no life???? have you tried to listen to any of those songs....there is a lot of life, soul, feelings! The fact it is not "true fucking heavy metal" (as Eric Adams uses to say) doesn't mean it is bad! the same stands for Kiske...the fact he doesn't make metal anymore doesn't mean he doesn't put all his soul in his music!!!!!

if you are talking to the file "vocal range game", well, yes, that was just an exhibition (and I honestly I find it sensless)...but it was a game!! If you mean he can't sing, I totally disagree! And again try to listen to the his songs...

To me its more boring than U2 last album. And fuck off if isnt metal, i do not listen just metal...but for my person, his songs are hollow. my 2 cents.

A polemic comes?

@Giorgiolinas: Well, everyone has his/her opinion. Respect that!

Want you see another singer with high notes? Then take a look at this.

http://www.adamlopez.com.au/Biography.html

Listen to the audio files and look at the video.

It seems that we have another winner....for guys.
Enjoy!

Of course, some people can't really know how singing works, without knowing about the vocal technique!
