It would be better if there wouldn't be any keyboards

I'm maybe too old for thinking...
Sorry, i'm not blonde!

Well, just kidding... maybe for some people his solos are a bit repetitive, but after it depends of the feelings of everyone, as i guess everyone as his/her own opinion...Ask then to Timo why he takes on Janne as keyplayer...

IMO Janne Wirman's solos are more just about showing off his talents.

I love his solo albums! Coldness was really atmospheric and the album grew on me (especially since it's signed by Timo lol)

P.S. You guys are insane to talk shit about Janne. Have you heard Warmen before?

P.P.S Going to the Unholy Alliance tour today to see Children of Bodom and SlayahhhhhhH! :headbang:

Yes, I have heard all records from Warmen. I own only Beyond Abilities, but my friend has the rest of them. The songs are pretty good but the solo's are a real pain in the ass. Most of them have no feelings or sense, just speed. And there's too many of them. But, it's just my opinion.

Quite a similar opinion here, plus I have all Warmen albums and singles.

Janne has mad skills, but doesn't know how to control them yet.

Very well described! That´s one of the reasons why I didn´t get to like Janne´s playing so much, although I like the Warmen music.

Ha, how much more control does someone have to have? I think some of his best solos are on Kotipelto's solo albums. One of the top of my head is the solo on Can you hear the sound.....that is just fucking amazingly composed IMO

I'll buy the new album. If it has Romeo on it that's one of the best parts!

I hope so, but I haven't heard anything on that, has anyone else? I asked Romeo about it in an on-line chat with the fan club a few months ago and all he had to say was if Timo asked him, he'd love to do it. Don't know if it ever came to fruition. In fact, the Blabbermouth article only said this:

"KOTIPELTO's sophomore solo album, "Coldness", was released in Europe in April 2004 through Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Waiting for the Dawn" was recorded by CHILDREN OF BODOM keyboardist Janne Wirman at his Beyond Abilities Studios..."

Doesn't say whose on this project. Where's the info on this? Don't see it on Kotipelto's site.

I love that song, and the keyboards in it too. I'm more than willing to listen to Janne Wirman's playing and watch his considerable talent develop.

Looking forward to this cd's release!.....whoever's on it.

^^Lauri Porra revealed on his guestbook that he is gonna play on third Kotipelto-album.

Although nearly everyone could have guessed that, so nothing special news.

Janne Wirman is his real name. I guess Warman is his "artist name" besides the fact that it has a meaning in English.
