It would be nice to see Strato live sometimes, but I live here in the middle of nowhere, so I have to travel sth like 500-1000 kilometres if I want to see them However, it's nice that they have made some excellent changes.

Re: Set list?!?!
Very nice to hear they still have kept AMLYA, Visions, Will My Soul, TAoYE and Distant Skies on the setlist. But I´d expected some other rarities too. They namely had played all of these in the summer festivals.

When I was at their most controversial concert in Piorno Rock (Granada, Spain) in 2003 they played songs like I walk to my own song, Reign of terror, Lord of the wasteland, Phoenix, I'm still alive, Season of faith's perfecion... among other classics

Reign of Terror???? I'd love to see it so much. Early albums
rule so much.
I'm still there, everywhere

I never stayed anywhere
I'm the wind in the trees
Would you wait for me forever?

I really love this setlist!
I hope they keep it for Southamerica, exchanging the order between BD and FT, as I still prefer Black Diamond as an ending.

OK, New Yorkers...you're the city that never sleeps, so how come none of you are awake right now to recant your Strato memories?

Re: Set list?!?!
Well...we definitely needed to get some sleep as we didn't get home till 3am, due to waiting for our train!brought2ubyletterC wrote:OK, New Yorkers...you're the city that never sleeps, so how come none of you are awake right now to recant your Strato memories?
BUT...waiting for that train was WELL WORTH IT!!! First off, fantastic show, pretty much the same setlist except Lauri didn't do his bass solo. Also, we got to interview Timo Tolkki for our website, had photo passes, and had the opportunity thanks to their tour manager to hang out backstage after the show until the band left the venue, which wasn't until about 12:30am, and the show was over at 11pm! We got to talk to all of the guys in the band, especially Timo K, Timo T and Lauri. We talked to Jens and Jorg too, but they were pretty busy hanging with their friends and talking to us in between.
Ah...I'm still buzzing from last night!!! I will post the pictures on the site in a few days, and try to transcribe our interview. I will let you all know when they are up!
Now I wish we could fly to LA!!!! BUT, it is very possible we may be going to Wacken next year and we'll do this again!

Sounds fantastic! I can't wait for tomorrow!
Re: Set list?!?!
I got home early (at 12) but I had classes in the morning, so I went directly to bed.
The show was really cool, hated the moshpits though.
The set list was OK.
But I think last year's show was better.
I wanted them to play Fight!!!
But I really enjoyed it.
Oh, by the way, Visions was majestic.
