Yeah, video is cool, song rocks, though I think the chorus is not that much inspiring... But well, I liked the simplicity and down-to-earth heaviness of "Coldness", so this is a good outlook to his next album, IMO.

Yes, that song is the main theme of the movie actually. It's called Vares 2... Our Finnish friends can say mor about it.

The movie will see it´s premiere on January 12th in Finland. Totally Finnish spoken movie. But surely it´ll come a hit in Finland I believe.

Studio update p2

Hello,

Most of the songs are mixed by now. Mikko is about to mix the last song in a couple of weeks and then the music is done. I don´t have the title or the artwork yet. We also shot a music video for one of the songs. The song will be on a Finnish movie "Vares 2" which will have it´s premiere January 12th 2007. The song is a main theme and can be heard when the credits are scrolling at the end of the movie. The music video will included clips from the movie . Some of the actors who are playing the characters on these clips are my personal friends and are very well known in Finland.

Even though I don't speak Finnish, I'm willing to bet the dialogue to that movie will be more entertaining to me than most of the crap that is in the movie theaters these days.

I really love the guitar solo and the song isn't bad either, maybe just a bit too traditional hard rock -song.
Vares is probably the greatest Finnish movie I've seen (others being Star Wreck: In The Pirkinning and Häjyt), so I'll definetly go see Vares 2 as well.

Well, actually, in the official website it says that the single will be out on 1/10.

Now the album is finally completely mixed!
I will do the mastering as soon as I have decided the order of the tracks.
Once again Mikko Karmila did a superb sound for the album. This might be the best Kotipelto-album ever but then again I am too close to my music to give you any real review.

Yeah, before I´ve never liked that guitarist much (and also the songs he has made for jonna´s Problem were IMO quite empty), that solo nearly blew me up. It was so incredible! Appreciation grows.
