Surprisingly very good movie! Overall nice expect Josh Hartnett sucks hard and I was disappointed because he didn't die in the movie...

One of the best movies I've seen in a long long time ...

The 9th Company
A Russian war film, a mix of Rambo and Full Metal Jacket. Quite bad. Unrealistic, unbelievable, I couldn't relate to any of the characters.
The New World
I liked Thin Red Line more. Terrence Malick's films are beautifully shot, nature is very much present in his films, you really can smell the grass and feel the wind. At one point the "wind through grass" thing started to annoy me a bit, though. Too bad the plot wasn't good.

It's just that he mentioned that Hartnett's character didn't die. So those of us who didn't watch the movie already know that he won't die. That's a spoiler. No biggie though, but it would be convenient to announce spoilers before someone reads them.

Jesus Camp
Fucking scary! These people are seriously ruining their children. The weirdest part is when they put this cardboard Bush in front of an american flag and tell the kids to scream "ONE NATION UNDER GOD!!!"

Mimic
No words to descripe how bad this was. Plot was the billionth version of attacking giant insects with 25 year old scientists fighting against them.

Couldn't you guess it from the title?
The last one I saw was
RV with Robin Williams. It was a pretty nice comedy with some good laughs here and there. Plus it showed how technologyhas distanced families apart, though a bit to the extreme here.
7/10
Robin has done better things than that though.

Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan
Painfully hilarious and extremely offensive. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole movie. The nude-fight between Borat and his producer must be the most shocking scene I've ever seen.

He chased his producer while screaming in Hebrew "kus ahot'ha ha-tsolaat", which means "your limping sister's pussy", which is a very strong curse phrase in Hebrew slang

Will Farrel making what he knows best and Nicole Kidman is so cute!

The Descent
This movie was seriously terrifying. A horror-movie without horror-movie cliches. I watched it alone in the dark with headphones and it was the first time since seeing Stanley Kubrick's The Shining for the first time that I've actually felt scared when whatching a movie.

Yep, it's great, but... it's probably the sadest movie I've ever seen.
Apocalypso:
Great movie, though very brutal. But I liked the idea to make a complete movie in Maya, and the story seems quite realistic to me. Otherwise, nobody knows for sure about the way the Maya lived. ("It's a Mystery")

Well, quite... inconvenient. But Al Gore is a master of entertainment, as he's a good politician. His evidence left no doubt in my opinion. We are getting our asses burned if we don't do anything to stop global warming...

I'm agree with you

It's a sad story about drug addiction, the truth without tinsel, unvarnished, unadorned...

I will never watch it again, it's too hard. But it's one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Agree. That change that happens from the "purgatory" to "hell" is quite blood chilling. Kinda like the game.
EDIT: Oh, I watched
Doom again...It's really not something special,or even something good IMO, but the only really good thing is the 5 minutes just before the end...

Yeah, the atmosphere change was amazing and the creatures were very well done, especially the guy with pyramid-like helmet and the Janitor. The stuff with pyramid guy was the creepiest ...
I never played the game though, so I can't compare. From what I've understood, the adaptation is pretty faithful to the game ...

Corpse Bride
Not as good as Nightmare Before Christmas, but as always, I had to admire Tim Burton's visual genius.

Lost In Translation
Maybe just a little bit overrated. Bill Murray is a truly great actor though.

I liked it very much, IMO Corpse Bride is one of the best Tim Burton's creations ever.

I saw it today and liked it. It's such a relaxed movie ...

A Night At The Museum
More like 3 nights, but that wouldn't sound nice.
Many great actors in this film, quite a funny story, definitely a must-see at least once!

TROY. Bad expensive movie with bad actors, and even pretty Brad Pitt doesn't save it. :yuk: Too much blood again like in every American action film. Actors don't look like Greeks

4 points of 10 just because of special effects

The blood is not a problem with this film, it's about a bloody battle after all. Bad acting, boring script and overusage of special effects are ... I fell asleep during one of the first battles.
I've seen all 3 Indiana Jones movies recently, now those are a fun adventure movies! They prove that you don't need a huge amounts of CGI to make a fun action adventure movies ...
