Nightwish will inform 6 days earlier who the new female singer is. There was a leak in the net so they have to bring the news out earlier as planned.

Question: Who is she?
IMO she sounds similar to Amy from Evanescence

Well, to my opinion, she has a nice voice (better than mine anyway), but does not have the "special little thing" that the former signer had. She sounds American to me. We shall see.

Definitely not Jenn. Got an e-mail from her confirming this a few weeks ago. I believe that
the Saana thing is probably her current priority, and suspect that project will probably have at least some NW type of influence.

Michelle was asked by Tolkki to record a demo of some NW cover just prior to the auditions in Atlanta last year.

Wish I had time to do some real recording with my friends, since I have some very polished demos with very elaborate arrangements. Unfortunately, current workloads prohibits this though.

But for now, I am still stuck in the database repair dungeon.

Same opinion here. Have heard lots of about that after the ex Tristania singer rumour. But I am in the same situation that doesn´t recognize Liv´s voice as I don´t listen the bands she has been involved.

I've seen Liv Kristine live at the Kamelot gig and her voice sounded very different. After reading all those posts above I am totally wrong....

Seriously, it's just a new singer, I don't know why there is so much secrecy.

Just finish the album so I can go and get it and see if it good or bad, regardless of the singer!

Come on guys, this isn't Liv Kristine. Even me, who has just listened to a few songs of her projects, recognizes that it's certainly not her, she a very remarkable voice.
