Nostalgic - What happened with the forum?

Post by Mariano_Strato » Thu Sep 13, 2007 3:25 am

Hi everybody. I just was wondering why this forum have so loooow activity lately, and when i say "lately" i mean since the beginning of this year, hehe :D . I know, you will look at my number of post... and they're just a few....i don't post too much, hehe, it's just that i really prefer to read what people post here instead of posting everytime. It's kind of sad when i enter to the forum and find that nobody posted new replies to topics and things like that....but well. I remember those when this place was a total chaos!! so many memories come to my mind! , heheh. What do you think? is that stratofans are busier now? or maybe the whole website needs a refresh!??a new face after all that happened, no with the forthcoming album.... perhaps more updates often!or that the tours/recordings diaries don't die after a week of being created! Well....i just asking me that....what do you think??. :headbang:

Just the natural ebb and flow of any band's forum. When new music is released and when the band is touring, there is more activity. When a band is either resting, writing or recording, there is less discussion. That is until there is news about the new material. When there is more to talk about, things will pick up again.

Yup. There is always an influx of new members too whenever an album is released or a tour is happening. Of those, a few become regulars.

The never ending cycle of any band\s forum. I am not worried. Besides, I have never seen Timo and Jens post so much as in the last few weeks, which is very cool.

Agree fully. Having band members participating on discussions makes the forum more lively to read or join those discussions; and perhaps even more reliable. Specially in these no new releases/no tour times. :)

I agree. Its just normal, I think. Also, this is the time of year people are getting out&enjoying the last of Summertime activities. Later on most forums are more active. And, yes, when albums are released it will be pretty busy on here! :)
