Yea I said about it earlier. Would have thought Tolkki would have been a bit more protective after Saana.

Oh well, at least now the two people who were thinking of buying it don't have to....

Seriously, does anyone care at this point?

Its been available for weeks. It has the stupid talking voice on some songs. Boring record anyway with no soul made only for money.

Maybe the same person who somehow uploaded our complete album onto torrent sites before we even had the finished promos ourselves? :p

It says stonedphoenix, but that could be anybody I guess. :err: Maybe even one of our Grannys. :D

Aren't torrent sites somewhat unsafe? Don't they have the tendency to spread viruses? So, actually, some people don't have bands&fans best interest at heart when they post anything on torrent sites, it seems? ???

I just googled "stonedphoenix", and this person has posted lots of stuff to torrent. So, like I said, who knows? ???

Like everywhere else with downloads, some are safe and some not so safe.
I've also seen it on Kerrazy-torrents too, though have not downloaded as i'm not too impressed with the samples i've heard so far, seems to be hard rock not power metal.

lol! I will still buy it, but I kinda don't really care at this point either!

I'm much more curious as to what the other Strato member's upcoming projects are!

I don't know why you say this is rock. I thought the same when I heard the samples, not now. I'm listening Eden is burning and Heroes, plus Last night on earth and I can't say this is rock... o__O

I did it my way, maybe yes.

The song Glorious and divine seems to have rather dirty & funny lyrics  I wonder if the lyrics are final.

In light of TT's recent statement, I think I will buy his album on June 6th.

I downloaded the album, no viruses or other things like that.

The album is great, but a borring voice always saying:
You are listenning to the new Revolution Renaissance album: New Era
....

I like this album, but it's not strato anymore :(

Still thinking the same...The album is too slow, with good songs, but for my power metal Head is like a Hard Rock album with Strato influences.
The best song: Glorious and Divine..."See all the lotions and potions and shampoos for you to use"

not kind of Tolkki style of lyric, but goog melody, Sammet should have sung the entire album!

It seems that EVERY album reuses a previous albums riff, the Revolution Renaissance riff is VERY similar to the Soul of a Vagabond riff.

I'm still trying to find the similarities to Visions album...

It seems to me that New Era is recorded too fast, extremely simple and under-produced... No cool arrangements, no details, no backing vocals, almost no keyboards... Whatever

That's just one of the reasons why I liked it.
All power metal nowadays is so outrageously overproduced, that it's nice to have some "old-school" for a chance.

Pay attention to the last verse of the chorus of Last Night on earth, it's the same that Forever free:

"...If its your last night on earth..."

"...We are Forever freeeeeee..."

Like I said before, the same Recycle song

Yeah, and that's what Tolkki promised it would be, even when it was still an album project for Stratovarius. :)

Don't forget the millions of other songs before Forever Free with a chorus that ends the same way.
