Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
It's obvious that you bumped this thread to see negative reactions since not everyone supports Timo now. We're not stupid, don't try to act like you bumped this thread for positive reasons. Even I know you well enough that you wouldn't bump this for positive reasons.

Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
Of course it does, and since it was on the back pages you took some valuable time looking.
This topic was posted 4 years ago, and so many things have happened during that time. Lives have changed, minds have changed, people have changed. In the grand scheme of things, 4 years is a long time.
Life, thankfully, is not stagnant. Ideally it is an everchanging enity which helps us grow inwardly, and toward new goals and new things life continuously have to offer.
That topic, if it means anything after so long, was posted to welcome TT back from his battle with depression and bi-polar disorder. It was an act of kindness and nothing more. There is no big deal, and nothing to explain.
4 YEARS is a long time, icecab21, and whatever the reason you resurrected that dead topic it is redundant. There are lots of topics praising TT on the back pages, perhaps you could dredge them all up so we all can live in the past, and beat dead horses.
As for me, I find it more productive to move on in life. Although reminising does have its own fun.

well it was sort of for a mix of amusement and also a "lets move on" and look torwards the future. it seems like a lot of posts here are that tolkki has always and will always be negative. i would like to see both bands have positive futures.

They will, no doubt. I don't think anyone with sense is going to worry about that. They are all adults and know how to run their own life.icecab21 wrote:well it was sort of for a mix of amusement and also a "lets move on" and look torwards the future. it seems like a lot of posts here are that tolkki has always and will always be negative. i would like to see both bands have positive futures.

Let's give them a standing ovation!

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch?!
Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
I would also like both parties to have very productive futures and I wish them well.
I have always said that I don't understand the circumstances of events that happened over the last little while but I have not wished bad things on anyone.
So in the end I hope Tolkki has a great future ahead of him and I also hope the remaining Stratovarius members have great times ahead as well.
In the end we have two great bands to hear from

Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
I did like the drop in the ocean post. I guess part of this is about what types of behavior cause people to wish the best for a recovery vs. causes them to just be angry or have indifference.
Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
I don't think I was ever angry, just really confused.
you see I love all the members in Stratovarius, not just one person in paticular.
I will admit some of the stuff that seemed to be going on from tolkki's camp seemed a bit irrational but I'm sure he had his reasons.
I'm also sure that TK,JJ,JM and LP had good reasons for what they've done as well.
in the end it just seems like a situation where nobody is right and things are what they are.
as I said before let's just be happy that now we have two great bands we can listen to.

new beginning for both and so far great beginnings. now we get to carry on with the music that everyone has been such a big part of and history in the making.

Hey, check Gus's picture blog out! Some pretty cool photos there.

Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
Lauri Porra, Jens Johansson, Bruno, Gus and Mattias. Bass, keyboards, drums, vocals and guitars. Wanna start some rumours?????
now that would be funny. perhaps a project down the line. they could elope
It’s great to see everyone smiling and having a good time together. I’m sure that is what the majority of the time is and sometimes the little things get the most attention. Sometimes it big little things but then the normalcy of having a good time comes back. too many positives going on to make anything about other things

Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
That project would be sweet, because it could be similar to newer Helloween stuff, but with Jens and Lauri rocking the solos.
I'm still waiting for a Dio/Yngwie/Jens project (How fucking awesome would that be)

Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
Here's an even cooler band (I mean what's cooler than having two keyboard players?)
Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
cool and the picture is the right size to fit in this one. now 2 keyboardest would be so awsome. i would love to see a band with 2 key and 2 guitar players. the mass of sound they could create between lead and rythem and atmosphear would be amazing.

Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
you helped me in my worst moments when my parents were separated, when annoy me at school, everywhere you were with me through your songs, through Stratovarius, you were my main support, changed my view of life, all of Stratovarius did so, the credit belongs to everyone. That's why more and I thank you, and I will always support you in all your projects, a hug from here I wish you all happiness in the world

Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
I really have to wonder, what is the state of the relationship between the bands, seeing as they seem to be partying together?
Would a Strato-Revolution tour ever be possible, or are there too many bad feelings between TT and JJ/TK/JM?

Perhaps the new guys get along well with present Strato members, guess Mike is already an old friend of Jens too.

Lol, as unrealistic as that sounds, that would be so fucking awesome!Rebel wrote:Would a Strato-Revolution tour ever be possible, or are there too many bad feelings between TT and JJ/TK/JM?
I'm happy enough about Stratovarius officially reunited, alive and kicking! Looking forward to worshipping these two bands, more so than ever!
Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
i would love it if in time they all could tour together. everyone but tolkki has such a great time together. i do hope things can heal and a friendship can grow again. i cant really understand just wanting to never see or talk with people that one has shared a stage and great times with for 12 years.
Re: We All Support You, Timo Tolkki!
I'm sure they'll all forget all these problems in time.TT cannot play with Strato anymore since they already have such another great guitar player which is MK, but it would be amazing seeing RR & Strato touring together. Just have a look at Jens, Mike, Bruno, Gus...they all seem to get on very well with each others. Why not?
