Wow my god it’s beautiful. that's a interesting instrumental part of the song.
Thanks so much for posting the link. That was fantastic! Really cool version. Timo sounds damn good, so I guess he got over the pneumonia. What a bad time to get sick! Please keep us posted on how the contest goes. How much longer is it - how many more performances are possible if you aren't voted off?

I must say that my favourites here are Espoo and Lappajärvi choirs :) But I think the Hunting high and low wasn't the best choice. It was great though! But I think Espoo made a probably better choice regarding the song :)

Mikki is a superb guy too :D He's the keyboardist/singer of the Finnish band Egotrippi which is by the way a very very good band! They started as a speedmetal band but have changed quite a bit!

Tonight it's Aerosmith and Def Leppard, right?
Whoever who's able to watch it, keep us informed who's out this time...and who's NOT out...

Agree 100 %. :D

And Marion with Helsinki is out, so now it's Timo VS. Mikki (Lappajärvi VS. Espoo).

But Marions choir was today much better than Mikkis choir. imo!
But my voice is down now and hands are painful! It was great to be there. I can say that Lappajärvis Choir had more fans there than anyone else had... about 75-80% was Kotis Fans... INCLUDING ME  That was great happening 8)

Goddamn, it's embarrassing to watch those choirs. It ruins the entire thing, even though I know that the choirs are pretty much the entire point.

Why? I know it is cheesy at first but now I think those choirs are great. They make everything sound like a DragonBall Z Theme song!

I just think it's mostly the dancing that I hate. Seriously, it's awful.

I saw the videos. It is a good challange:) So i hope Timo's Choir will win:)

I am sure if it would be a hungarian thing the 80% of the riports speak about the daily life of the members or leaders of the choirs. So i think hungary must learn too much more.

Niin, Timon kuoro on PARAS!:D

Alright, and in the finals we'll hear "Over The Hills And Far Away" (Gary Moore) and "I Want It All" (Queen), plus AC/DC which the audience voted to be the best show so far (from Timo's choir). :P

Great Setlist. I am especially curious about the Queen song.

 Come on, I just inform people beforehand.

Me too. IMO AC/DC was their best performance (didn't like the ballads that much, though they weren't bad either) and in the TV-ad they sang Gary Moore so that was quite obvious, but Queen... wonder who'll get the high notes?

Can't help it. It's just my f*cking hometown competing for 40.000 euros. I'm sorry if someone gets irritated about these posts.

Freddy Mercury's voice is maybe one of the most unique voices ever and it will be very hard to do him justice. I mean, take a look at Queen with Paul Rodgers. He is a very good singer but I don't think he is the right "replacement" for Freddy. I don't think that there is a way to replace him.

I don't think the band takes him as a "replacement". But what can they do? Sit at home and think about "what could be if Freddie was here"? I'm not fan of Queen too much...with or without Freddie, but I support the band in finding a singer and doing what they like (and can) rather than thinking about past and doing nothing. If fans like it, OK, if fans doesn't like it, they still can put an old disc to the player and not to go to a concert.

I think Kotipelto's been kicking ass so far, I'm sure he'll do queen justice.
