Perhaps it took them 5 years to save for a Mac.NightScreamer wrote:theyre using macs now!Ragehead91 wrote: Ah, okay, I get it. I read it took them so long because of computer problems. What kind of computer problems to they have to push back the release of the album from 2006 to 2007, then from 2007 to 2008 and then from 2008 to 2009? I mean, I know that Vista can be a bitch, but 5 years?

Re: Video for Deep Unknown...
I heard that Jari needs 2 gigs of RAM to run his songs, when he's recording because of the high number of tracks for each one (over 200), I have .5 gig of RAM

They need way more I assume more than 10.They encountered the problem that they can run more than 3 GB only with the 64 bit version of windows.

Re: Video for Deep Unknown...
i love it too its very good but wintersun has said nothing about this im wondering where it came from so i can confirm that its not photoshopped or something(not that it is cause it looks too nice for some one to create and throw logos on and not be the actual cover).

Sometimes when you read the stratoforum you get to see stuff before anyone else.. and also you become a guinea pig / beta tester.
It's the first time I try to host a large file here on Dreamhost which will get a lot of hits over the next months... So, does it load? Does it stutter? Could you please let me know, do we need to put this on youtube instead? I like the picture quality and stereo sound of the file above though. It would be good if it worked.
(And hey, if you were able to watch it, what do you think?)
I guess will make a news item about this tomorrow, then the rest of the world will get to see it too, not only you stratoforum addicts

Re: Video for Deep Unknown...
Well, as I said, I don't really like performance videos. I like if the clip tells a little story. So I'm not too avid about this but I guess it is a good video.

Re: Video for Deep Unknown...
Awesome. No stutter whatsoever. What I found really annoying though is that the video starts automatically. -_-
Even now as I'm replying.
Anyways, great song and video! Congratz to you Jens, and all of Stratovarius!

Re: Video for Deep Unknown...
is there any way you could post the actual high quality file of this some where (hope thats not too much to ask mabye?) but any way its a killer fucking vid...the only thing maybe is there semes to be some glare and smokeyness that could be toned down to give it a sharper look other than that its awsome
thanks Jens!!
thanks Jens!!

Re: Video for Deep Unknown...
Kick ass video!! Can't wait to have the CD! :shud:
Re: Video for Deep Unknown...
It loaded more than perfectly, pretty much scared the hell out of me when opening this thread It also ran very smoothly and the quality was fantasticJensJohansson wrote:So, does it load? About what I think: I LOVED it The futuristic feel looks like it matches the album (cover at least) perfectly
(Even though I do think the very bright light was rather annoying)
Seeing Jörg's happy, smiling face made me smile too, and I think Lauri looks really nice, rather *cough* sexy, in the video
Now I can't wait for the album!
Thank you so much for uploading the video Jens! /kiss
Edit: And now the video scared the shit out me when posting this.. Stupid me

Swim definitely...but its subtle its kinda like the hunting high and low vid after polaris had its way with it...very cool looking... it definitely coincides with the cover so yeah i now also see where the bright lights come in the star ship is above them
