Stratovarius Cover recording - for all musicians who can rec

Here musicians can talk to each other about making music etc. Of course if you are not a musician you are still welcomed to this board, but the topics should somehow be about making music.

I'm working on it! Don't know what the rest is doing. I had to re-record the keys because of a stupid failure by my synth. But now everything is going fine. I'l send it as soon as it's finished.

I'm not sure who's recording guitars, I can if you want, but I can't sing until at least the rhythm guitars are finished. If you want me to start recording guitars, email me the track. My email is warrencurrymetal@gmail.com

Well I have always recorde with cubase. I record somethin in the synth. Then I connect the synth to the PC. And then I let the synth play my recodings. And then Cubase records it. But now Cubase cannot find my synth. Cubase just doesn't record anything...

Have you already tried to play a song that had been recorded previously on your keyboard before? Maybe it just does not send any MIDI signal in...

No it doesn't sned anything... Normally I can connect the keyboard to the PC and then when I play, you see the audio meter of cubase react. But there is no reaction at all...

are you running your keyboard direct, through midi, or what? If you are running it direct did you adjust under "Devices -> Device Setup" Check the VST audio bay. My peripheral device connects using usb and sometimes I have to change this setting before the input audio becomes recognized.

Awesome stuff guys! I actually came here looking for people's starto recordings!

I suggest doing Hunting High and low!

There's no key solo and the drums would probably be pretty easy to program.

I can play all the guitar parts of HH&L, and I'm sure many others can too. I could even tab it out if anyone would like.

we are doing black diamond right now. So far, we have the drums programmed. We are waiting on bass and keys, then guitars.

BTW if need be, I have the keys sequenced out in midi form.
