wow, that's interesting! we only need to wait for one and half months! much faster than I thought!
but, is that Japanese only? what's the European release date? will that be in August or :?:
can't want to see what Cain - or Jani&others - is going to offer!
I'm also curious about how Timo is going to sound in Jani's songs. IMO he usually sounds very different in different projects. :)

What? He sounds the same in his solo band like he sounds in Strato. I don't see why he should sound different in Cain's Offering.

Well in Finnish magazine Inferno 5/09 TK shortly mentioned Cain's Offering at the end of Stratovarius interview (something)like this; I popped in to do the vocals of this band, but that was only because this material was so f***ing splendid. I have no goal to to release a solo album in a hurry. :jump:

when i said that I meant the way he uses his voice, like many people also said, he sounds different in Polaris compare to previous albums. I think Tolkki used to be very strict on how the vocal lines should be done to fit his materials and message, and he "polishs" Kotipelto's voice somehow. it's quite normal that the producer/main composer has a vision in mind and asks the vocal to follow that way, and in that sense I do think Kotipelto sounds different in his band and Stratovarius. when Jani will be the mastermind of the songs this time, I'm curious about what will happen.

but of course, it's just personal opinion. :)

It will be hard to get anyone to buy the album if they don't release any music soon. xP

They had a streaming thingie in the website a few months ago, not sure what happened. Heck, I can't say I remember what it sounded like, I think I liked it.

I hope this won't be the kind of album that will be released in Japan first and then takes months or years to be released in Europe and everywhere else. The 2nd Kiske Album "Readiness to Sacrifice" is a good example. It was released in Japan in 1999 and it took the album 2 years to be finaly released in Europe in 2001.

I guess they'll find a deal. Kotipelto and Liawhatthefuckever...Sorry, I still can't spell or pronounce his name. I'll wiki that. Jani Liimatainen. Okay, so Kotipelto and Liimatainen are two relative big names and I can't imagen that no lable wants to sign them. They could ask Frontiers or A.F.M.

Why won't you just shut up?
I mean what do you gain from posting that kind of stuff?

I mean that is really childish and pathetic.
