Right, and DM songs sound awesome live.
I don't think DM is that good of an album but it is deffinitly a step into the right direction. And that direction is to get as far away from St. Anger as they can. God, that album sucked. But it still sold millions.

Ragehead:I really have no problem with any of their albums, some I do like more then others but I don't hate any one of them. But it's cool also if you don't like their new stuff.

Here's another line up

Vocals:Alice Cooper
Guitars:Jens Ludwig(Edguy,Avantasia)
Guitars:Yngwie Malmsteen(Solo,ex-Steeler,ex-alcatraz)
Bass:Markus Grosskopf(Helloween,Bass invaders,Avantasia)
Keyboards:Jens Johansson(Stratovarius,Silver mountain,Yngwie Malmsteen,Dio,Johansson,Solo)
Drums:Vinny Appice(Black Sabbath,Dio,WWIII,Heaven and hell)

Yes Ralf sang a few shows with Helloween, for example when Kai was ill on the Walls Of Jericho Tour.
I would LOVE to have bootlegs of those shows.
I would too but I don't have any of these, sorry.

No Problem. I wasn't expecting you to have them. I know they're ultra-rare.

I'm bored, so here's my suggestion for (second) Rainbow-reunion line up that actually could have chance of happening:

Vocals: Ronnie James Dio
Guitar: Ritchie Blackmore
Bass: Rudy Sarzo (Would've voted for Jimmy Bain, but I heard that he is not in good terms with Dio these days)
Keyboards: Don Airey
Drums: Eric Singer

Would be great one too, but I chose Sarzo and Singer, because I thought Sarzo has, in lack of better word, a very energetic style that I like in Dio amd would bring nice touch to Rainbow. And I never really care much for Rondinelli, but that might be just because Difficult To Cure and Straight Between The Eyes aren't exactly my favourite albums from Rainbow.

Oh and no Deep Purple songs, 20-minute solos from Blackmore or post-Dio -era songs. This way they could play most of the songs from first three albums on every single gig. 8)

actually I don't see them doing any of the later songs as that doesn't seem to be Dio's kind of thing, I was just thinking of surviving members of the band is all.

Well, somehow I like the thought about Dio Singin "I Surrender" but I agree, they should do the same thing that Sabbath did with Heaven and Hell: Only play songs from the Dio Era.

Yeah Vadim Pruzhanov's technical talent and Tolkkis emotional playing mixed.
There we have fast and technical as DF but emotional Stratostuff.

Just thought of a strange, a bit extreme and funny line-up

Guitar: Mattias "IA" Eklundh (Freak Kitchen, Art Metal)
Bass: Jonas Hellborg (Art Metal, and played with SHAWN LANE! and John Mclaughlin)
Keyboard: Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater)
Drums: Aquiles Priester ( ex-Angra, Hangar)
Couldn't decide a singer, maybe Tomme Karevik (Seventh Wonder), or MAttias could sing.

Any guitar freak here who is going to Mattias' "Freak Guitar Camp"?

Vocals: Dero (Oomph!)
Guitars: Victor Smolski (Rage)
Bass: Tobias Sammet (Edguy, Avantasia) (Just because I think his songwriting style would fit Dero)
Drums: Anders Johansso (HammerFall, Full Force, Ex-Yngwie Malmsteen)
Keyboards: Daniel Myhr (Sabaton)

Let's try this one

Vocals:Tarja Turunen(ex-nightwish,solo)
Guitars:Ritchie Blackmore(ex-deep purple,ex-Rainbow,Blackmore's night)
Bass:Gene Simmons(Kiss,solo)
Keyboards:Mikko Harkin(ex-Sonata Arctica,ex-Kotipelto,Cains offering, and some others which at the moment I'm too lazy to look up)
Drums:Scott Travis(Racer-x,Judas priest,ex-fight)

I know I usually throw in a second guitar player however in this case I have heard that Ritchie Blackmore refuses to play with a second guitar player.
